Claudia was a great guide! The views you get on this trip you won’t get elsewhere in Buzios. Definitely wear hiking or cross training shoes. You’ll want the traction for the steep parts.

Excellent company. Planned for us not only this trail, but also the Hawaiian canoe ride. The word "SENSACIONAL" well defines both experiences and our satisfaction with Cactus and the guides hired.

I booked with Cactus and it was an amazing experience!!! I recommend everything! Initial attention and, especially the guide Gabi - was explaining everything during the trail.

My wife and I loved this walk- made all the better as we had guide Nay looking after us. A lovely person who was knowledgeable, fun- and well connected to the local folks, who we also had the chance to engage with. It certainly made us feel we were not on a standard «  tourist trip ». We strongly recommend this activity - made better if you have Nay as your guide!

Not being able to understand the language was a huge handicap. The inclines out of downtown were steep without railings. Pricing was reasonable. Food was unseasoned. The area was crowded. The views were redeeming.

Outside the lush landscapes the guide Nicole made it all an even more magical experience. I have been able to connect with nature and have also acquired incredible knowledge about fauna, flora and rocky formations. Imperdible in Búzios.

Our guide Necole was amazing. She definitely has a passion for what she does and took us to several amazing spots. She was very attentive in making sure we were stepping in the right areas when making our way down the slippery rocks and trails. Learning about the local nature made the experience more interesting than just a walk through the landscape. She took her time making sure we understood what she was explaining - her English is very good. We ended on a red sand beach that was stunning and took several pictures with us. Would highly recommend!

Nicole is AMAZING!!! She is a wealth of knowledge and makes your adventure FUN! Hiking, learning about so many plants and flowers, great photo Port, beautiful some excitement too!We spoke Portuguese, French and English —she was beyond accommodating and just absolutely wonderful. I hope to see her again!!

We booked this last minute and it ended up being one of our FAVORITE parts of our whole 16-day trip. Nicole was so genuine, knowledgeable and clearly loves what she does. We had an incredible morning! Far better than we’d expected!

…first off, brazil comes in this category of places to hear, see, smell, and feel, that just overwhelms all of these senses. Loan, our guide and his heartfelt excitement of once again seeing persons as excited as him about the trail, led us along an already given path through a family of cactus, several species too. It’s a good work out. Walking up inclined hills all the way up only to see the entirety of búzios, almost, but truly splendid. The ocean smashes against these boulders of rock that tells of a story of how earth is still evolving. And the power of all around you takes your attention from one thing to another. It’s a real place. If one has tears in his/her eyes during this one point then you know it’s a real place. Our guide even showed us this cove where the ocean sends in waves but gentler. Think here of a round clock. All is in this circle, but at the nine o’clock position there’s this opening into where the ocean waves come. This is memorable for always. Thank you.
