Our driver was Cornel he was very friendly and helpful giving us information on other places to visit. I would recommend using this company as they were on time and friendly staff. The salt mines was a very good experience to see and the tour guide was very friendly and the tour was full of information.
Its a fantastic place to visit. But has a lot of stairs at the beginning of the tour which may affect people with reduced mobility.
Thank you for the fantastic review! We’re so glad you enjoyed your Salt Mine experience. Hope to see you again in Krakow!
Very interesting and informative tour learning all about the history of the Salt mine. Quite a lot of walking but lots of stops in each of the 20 chambers we visited. The salt sculptures and the scale and beauty of the chambers was unexpected and very impressive. Our pick up and transport was really excellent.
Thank you for choosing Krak Tours! ❤️ We’re delighted you had a great time exploring Salt Mine with us.
Our visit was via Krak Tours who kept us informed of details on the days beforehand. We were picked up by Paul in a mini-bus who drove us there with another couple. He then got us through the ticket gate but then waited 'on the surface'. We joined an English speaking group who led us through the various levels. We're provided radios and headsets which worked well. The tour covers the history, geology, science and operation of the mine. The descent is about 800 steps but it's in stages and not as daunting as it sounds, the passages are low in parts but okay if you're under 6 foot and they're well lit. All the chambers are spectacular and you're given time to photo accordingly. It's noted that it's cooler in the mines and to have a jacket, I found it comfortable in a tee-shirt especially as you walk a fair distance, and it was about 35deg on the day we went. Once complete, there is a gift shop to peruse before returning to the surface which is via a lift. These lifts hold 8 people and the politest way I can describe them are 'cosy'. Apparently there are two different lift shafts, one returns to the entry point but the other is a fair walk away. Thoroughly recommend.
Thank you for your wonderful review! 😊 We’re so glad you enjoyed your Salt Mine tour from Krakow
Amazing place don't miss it Only downside was the huge walk to the lift which fetched us out away from pick up but Peter our driver was a star he came to collect us
Thank you for the fantastic review! We’re so glad you enjoyed your Salt Mine experience. Hope to see you again in Krakow!
Pick up and drop off was excellent, the mine itself is beautiful the only issue we had was the headsets kept cutting out so missed a lot of what the guide was saying. The exit from the mine is also a bit confusing.
Thank you for your wonderful review! 😊 We’re so glad you enjoyed your Salt Mine tour from Krakow
Good tour, amazing mine.....
Dawid picked us up in good time & ensured all our needs were met from pick up to drop off. It was a very good guided tour - & really quite impressive. We opted not to visit the museum - the tour itself was long enough. Many thanks for ensuring all went according to plan.
Great experience, lbe prepared ots of walking and plenty of steps. Guides very organized and humorous
Interesting place however if you are deaf it’s a frustrating visit. The headsets need to be different and like the ones at Auschwitz where you have a head piece covering both ears. Having just one piece you insert into the ear doesn’t work. Also the sound was poor not just for me but also my friend who isn’t deaf. Although our guide was lovely her accent was hard to understand at times and she spoke too fast. There was one other person who was also deaf having the same problem as myself.
