The trip to Rome, Florence and Naples which our family travel advisor put together for us was wonderful. The hotels were amazing, the guides were friendly and the transfers were efficient. We are a family of 7; Grandparents, Parents and 3 children, ages 16, 14 and 10. Our private trip was planned by Enrico and he was very easy to work with. Our travel was Rome, Florence and Venice. I just can't say enough about the Nancy Aiello Tours team and how they helped make our family vacation absolutely incredible! I have worked with many tour companies and this is the best! Even though we were communicating thousands of miles apart, I felt an immediate personal connection. We booked experiences in Rome and Venice and loved them all! Our tour guides in Rome were knowledgeable, interesting and did a great job keeping my kids attention! They quickly connected with the entire family and we loved every minute we spent with them! As wonderful as our tours were in Rome, the real highlights were in Venice! We did the Mask Making class and Glassblowing demonstration and both experiences were BRILLIANT! Our private tour guide was amazing. We skipped lines, learned great details, and weren’t distracted by others. Our guide catered exceptionally well to our small children, 2 year old twins and a four year old. I recommend this company to everyone traveling to Rome and hope to return again soon and will certainly book through Nancy Aiello again.

Nancy Aiello Tours was a great company to work with to plan our first trip to Italy. I dealt exclusively with Maria, she helped walk me through several options that I was interested in and designed the trip around our interests. We booked services in Venice, Florence and Rome and we loved every activity we did. We definitely recommend this travel agency for family travel and tour arrangements with confidence.

We were travelling through Europe with our two 11 year old grandchildren, at what happened to be a ferocious heat wave. We had booked a three hour Vatican private tour and I was not looking forward to battling the heat and the crowds with two preteens. I have to say that the guide (I wish I could remember her name) was absolutely brilliant. She knew exactly how much information (the kind that they would remember) to impart, and when to move on to something else. Our grandkids received a good look at the spectacular Vatican museums and basilica in a non-hurried, family friendly way. This tour was one of the more expensive ones we participated in during our two week vacation but it was well worth it. I highly recommend this tour company.

Our family of 4 (kids ages 12 and 10) did a private tour to Siena and San Gimigano. The guide picked us up on time in Florence at our apartment in an air-conditioned Mercedes van and transported us to Siena. It was clear that our guide was very knowledgeable about all things related to Italian history. He walked around Siena with us first sharing stories along the way before taking us to lunch in a less traversed spot prior to our next stop. My kids asked if we could go to a winery to do some balsamic vinegar tasting, which he arranged for us last minute. On the way back, he took us to what seemed like the equivalent of an Italian Costco so we could buy groceries for the apartment. His flexibility was fantastic. This company positions itself as creating custom tours for the whole family. Although we did some customization on this tour, I wouldn't say that the content of this tour was any more heavily geared to the kids than it would have been had they not been there. This didn't take away from the experience for any of us, but it is something I think should be pointed out. Also, the price for this day was more than double what we paid for a driver for another day trip to Pisa and Lucca. The primary difference was that for this we had an educated guide with us every step of the way, whereas the other was merely a driver who didn't spend the day with us. Although this was an excellent day, I am torn as to whether it was worth spending as much money as we did given other options available to us. Overall, I do give this experience five stars. We learned a ton, felt the concierge level service, and saw some really fantastic places.
