Don’t do it. This was a rip off. The app didn’t work inside the Colosseum. Nobody met us at the gate. Not sure how they can call this a tour- this is a ticket reseller and that’s it.
We chose audio guide as it was going to be hot and we could move fast through the area but we also didn’t learn much. Couldn’t download the audio guide for the longest time as it’s a crowded place and internet speed was pitiful.
Our guide met us in a very central location to give us our tickets and talk to us about the 3 sites to tour. He was very helpful and available throughout our tour if needed. We did the audio tour guide which we downloaded to our phones and listed to with our own AirPods. Fantastic experience!!!! (It should be noted, for this particular tour agency, they really prefer to communicate through WhatsApp.)

It was a smooth and easy process. You check back in with the guide before the Forum/Palatine Hill, which was super helpful.
This was my husband’s favorite experience! We loved getting to walk through the colosseum. It was beautiful and the tour was very informative.
I don’t see the value added compared to buying directly on the official site. The person at meeting point was very kind and gave us good tips.
Porto (Peter) was a wonderful guide! He was a driver AND guide as he taught us a lot about what we were seeing and experiencing. Definitely recommend this tour if you only have a short time in Rome. We enjoyed the air conditioned car on a hot summer day too!
The sound file itself is in a dull monotonous voice with long information that did not feel quite relevant for where you stood and absolutely nothing I would recommend. Had my own headphones with me so it was not the sound to my ear that was wrong, but the experience. It was a complete liberation when it was all heard and the tour could continue with the fine descriptions hanging up there.
Antonio was Fantastico! He was extremely knowledgeable and wonderful as a host & guide. His personal insights and point of view on all he shared was insightful and factual. I have recommended this tour to several people.
