If you want a really authentic trip to Halong bay this is the trip for you. The boat is a wooden Vietnamese style boat and respects this stunning environment. The food prepared on board was a very high standard. Our host Tony was very knowledgeable and also very caring and patient. As a first time kayaker I was very nervous but Tony put my mind at ease and helped me all the way. I would highly recommend this trip.
We were glad we chose the 2 night cruise in Bai Tu Long bay, as it took the rush out of the experience. Each of the activity stops were quite intimate with just passengers from our (small boat), and occasionally from another of Renea’s boats. The weather in late September was perfect, and with all the picture perfect scenes we had hoped for.

VIC was a wonderful tour guide. I cost this trip because I heard Bai Tu Long Bay is a must. It was beautiful and less crowded with other boats. I highly recommend this tour and Vic. They are very organized.
Our family of five had the most amazing experience travelling on Renea cruises. We were incredibly fortunate to have the amazing tour guide Vic who was so educated knowledgeable, friendly and hospitable. Highly recommend him and the Renea boat company as it was more traditional and smaller number of guests making it more personable. Amazing trip to Bai Tu Long Bay. Renea are a great company to book with. Our guide Vic was amazing, very friendly and funny. We preferred the more traditional wooden boat that Renea offered and the fact they toured part of the bay that was much quieter. The boat was super clean and the service received on the boat was first class. Also you never go hungry, there was so much food! Would definitely recommend booking with Renea.
This tour was great if you're looking for a less overcrowded take on the Ha Long region, Vic and his crew were very accommodating and ran a good value for money tour.

Great experience. Truly more quiet route that has less boats and the boat is smaller allowing you a much calmer and lovely experience. Good room on the boat. 3 days and one night was a great length of the visit. Staff were amazing to a fault: super attentive, friendly and made the whole time great. All the staff on board work extremely hard to make that happen so thank you! Special thanks to Kenny our guide! His knowledge, humour and all around great energy and attentiveness made the experience what it was. He made it really bespoke for us! Thank you so much Kenny!! Only down side was the booking experience, as a solo traveller I was told dates to book that kept changing then I could not do a date I had booked for two people to switch to solo again which was a little confusing.
Best cruise we have ever done. We were a small group of 12 people and there was plenty of space for everyone. The rooms were spacious (for being on a cruise) and we loved to have a private toilet with a nice shower and hot water. Kenny, our guide, was amazing the whole time: from the morning Thai Chi session to the dinner and happy hour, when he shared interesting facts about Vietnam culture and history. The rest of the crew was lovely and positively happy to assist us at all times. The food was delicious (although a little bit too much) and the drinks were too. The activities were fun and entertaining, but interesting too considering Kenny was sharing plenty of information with us. We would definitely repeat this experience and we will suggest it to our friends and family visiting Vietnam. Thank you!
