Luiz and Angel were amazing crew! We caught 2 HUGE Marlins and were able to keep one, at least 140lbs. The crew made everything comfortable and were very helpful. Big day fishing today, we were able to pull up a stripped marlin! Jerry and Gilbert were super helpful and knowledgeable and made the entire trip possible. Without them there was no chance we could have done something like this. Highly recommend to anyone else who has the opportunity.

We had an absolutely unforgettable experience with Cabo Sport Fishing Crew in Cabo San Lucas! In just 5 hours of fishing, we caught TWO huge marlins — approximately 60 kg and 80 kg (130 and 175 lbs) — and we came incredibly close to catching two more marlins, which unfortunately got away at the very last moment. Absolutely nothing the crew could have done differently: Angel and Gilbert did an outstanding job from beginning to end. A very special mention goes to Angel and Gilbert, who were simply fantastic. Angel was incredibly professional and worked nonstop for the entire five hours. He was constantly changing lines and lures, adjusting the rods, repositioning everything and trying different setups to give us the best possible chance of catching fish. His commitment, knowledge and attention were impressive. He never stopped working to make sure we had the best fishing experience possible. Gilbert, our captain, was exceptional. He clearly knew the waters and the best fishing spots extremely well. Throughout the trip, he managed to get us exactly where the fish were, often before the other boats arrived. The combination of Gilbert’s skill in finding the right spots and Angel’s constant work with the fishing equipment was incredible — and the result speaks for itself: two massive marlins caught in only five hours and another two very close! Everything about the experience was excellent. They were perfectly on time, the fishing equipment was outstanding, and the boat was extremely clean, comfortable and very well maintained. During the entire five-hour trip, Angel and Gilbert took great care of us and made sure we had everything we needed, including snacks and drinks. For us, being among our first experiences with this kind of sport fishing, it was something truly special and a day we will remember for a very long time. The price was also extremely competitive, especially considering the quality of the boat, the equipment, the professionalism of the crew and the overall level of service. A huge congratulations to Cabo Sport Fishing Crew, and above all a massive thank you to Angel and Gilbert. Two fantastic professionals and genuinely great people who made our day in Cabo unforgettable. This past Wednesday we went on a fishing trip, hosted by Luis and Angel, and it was a once is a lifetime experience! Not even 45 minutes into the trip, we caught a Wahoo, which Luis and Angel said was incredible considering it didn’t bite the line off and there is only a small chance of actually succeeding in getting a Wahoo into the boat! For lunch, they had made homemade burritos that were on the most DELICIOUS tortilla. We listened to music and drank beers before we got another fish on the line, this time it was a MARLIN! Angel was patient with me while he taught me how to reel it in, and they took photos for us holding it before releasing it back into the water. At the end of the trip, they showed us where to get it filleted, and we gave them half the fish as a thank you, and also because we would never be able to eat it all! Luis and Angel made the trip even more exciting and fun than we ever anticipated, and we will definitely be booking another trip with them for our future stay in Cabo.

Had a great trip with Capt. José and 1st Mate José on Reel Tequila. The equipment and boat were in great condition. Booked an 8 hour trip and we were in the tuna for a large majority of the trip, had three nice tuna hooked up for a total of around 3 hours of fighting fish, landing a 90lb and a 75lb tuna. These guys are some of the most experienced that I have ever been with, Capt. José having 30 years, and it really shows throughout the entire day especially working the boat with the fish and landing them. Even after we had two in the boat, and lost the third, we fished up until 1:45 at least and made it to the marina well after 2 o’clock.

We left at 6am. 2 crew, the captain and 1 setting up the rods. They stopped for coffee for us before heading out. It was a small boat so it rocked a lot, even with good weather. The motor was loud the entire time so it's hard to have any conversations and you smell gas from the engine most of the trip. We had 2 skipjack tuna on the line early on leaving the marina and were able to reel one in. Then we trolled out to sea with lines in for another hour or so. No bites. Then we found a pod of dolphins and several other boats all trying to work with the dolphins to catch a tuna. An hour of moving with the dolphins, and we had a big one on the line. It took (or the crew let it take) an hour and 15 mins to reel it in. They guided us on how to fight the fish and after an hour adjusted the line tighter so we could get it in. A 40-45 lb yellowfin. They pulled all the lines in when we were reeling so everyone else sat and watched. It was now 10:30, and we headed back in at full speed with no lines out with the goal of fishing more closer in, but then it took 90 mins just to get back so no more fishing. We were happy we caught the 2 we did, but we wished we had gotten more time fishing and less time driving/trolling. Maybe we could've communicated that up front, but we didn't know. The guy helping with the reels was nice. Back at the dock there was a guy who would clean and cut the fish for us (additional charge), but we opted to gift the tuna to the crew (2 on board plus owner of boat, so 3 families were able to eat from our big tuna they said). The captain was still expecting an additional tip at the end after all that which left a bit of a sour taste in our mouth but we still enjoyed it. Note: If you are a person who gets sea sick, you will. Even with Dramamine and a $300 band. Those of us who only deal with mild to no sea sickness were fine.

Great experience from start to finish. Instructions from company helped prepare. Boat was impeccably clean. Left on time and returned on time. Blue Tail crew was amazing. Hard working, very helpful, and courteous. Caught and released two sailfish, with other strikes and tuna action. Amazing day and well worth the price.

Crew was great but vessel was in poor condition (duct tape, leaking window below deck). Conditions were very rough so we returned 90 minutes into our 8 hour trip.
