An incredible and thorough tour! James was kind and professional and knowledgeable. Be warned, Stanage Edge is a steep hike!

It was a beautiful experience and we visited many historical places but also in nature on the rocks. The guide James was very friendly and he gave us the maximum amount of information on this tour.

We had the BEST day on this Pride and Prejudice tour! My daughter and I are huge Jane Austen fans, and this was a dream come true. Our guide, James, was excellent—knowledgeable, friendly, and made the day so much fun. The comfortable, air-conditioned electric van seats seven, and even sitting in the back, we could hear James perfectly. The morning covered the 1995 BBC version, including Lyme Park (Pemberley), which was our favorite stop. We walked the grounds and saw the famous spot where Colin Firth took his plunge into the lake. We also visited Ramshaw Rocks, where Jennifer Ehle stood, and Longnor, used for the inn at Lambton. Lunch in Bakewell was delicious—definitely try the homity pie! The afternoon focused on the 2005 film. Chatsworth served as Pemberley, and while I thought the entry fee was expensive and the estate a bit over-the-top, it was fun seeing the filming locations, including the statues and the window where Keira Knightley looked out. The gift shop even has a Matthew Macfadyen/Darcy bust with a hilarious “Do not kiss” warning! We finished at Stanage Edge. The hike was worth it for the spectacular views and seeing where Keira Knightley stood. As someone afraid of heights, I took my photo from a safer spot with the famous rock in the background! We also learned so much about the history of Manchester and the Peak District. My daughter and I dressed in Regency attire and were delighted that a couple of other guests did too! It’s a long 10-hour day, but we packed so much into it that the time flew by. One of the best tours we've ever taken. Highly recommended for Austen fans and non-fans alike—and I would definitely take another tour with this company!

Highlight of our trip! This tour was worth every cent. James was a fantastic guide—attentive to the whole group, extremely knowledgeable, and just an awesome person to spend time with. I would do it again!

It was a great way to see the countryside. We enjoyed it a great deal, even though it was just our daughter that was the Pride and Prejudice fan.

If you're a P&P fan, this is a wonderful tour for you. James is not only well prepared and informed of the scenes and filming locations from the 95 series and the 05 movie, but gives an excellent overview of the history of the locations and the region. And the views on the drive are worth the whole trip!

This was an absolutely wonderful tour! My husband and I are big fans of the 1995 Pride and Prejudice, but even our adult sons who are not really into Pride and Prejudice enjoyed the tour. Seeing the beautiful Peak District was absolutely breathtaking! It is full of gorgeous scenery. Visiting Bakewell and having lunch there was a delight! Our tour guide, James, was great at giving loads of interesting information about Manchester and all of the Peak District places we visited that enhanced the tour experience. He was very personable and easy to be with. He did an excellent job of having scenes from the shows at the ready and pointing them out when we were in those locations where they were filmed. His attention to detail really exceeded our expectations. His addition of music from the versions of Pride and Prejudice was the cherry on top. When we entered Lyme Park and James started playing the theme from the 1995 version, it was thrilling! I clapped!! My only suggestion for improvement would be maybe if the tour guide wore a mic while driving. We were there during a heat wave, and sitting in the back of the van with the AC on high made it difficult to hear at times. Overall, this was a most excellent and enjoyable tour that I would highly recommend.

Starting from Manchester, we visited filming locations from both the beloved BBC adaptation and the 2005 film, with our guide providing a wealth of fascinating information about the history of the areas as well as behind-the-scenes details about each location. The highlight was undoubtedly Chatsworth House. Learning about the house itself and the family who still own the estate made the visit even more special. It was easy to see why it was chosen as Mr. Darcy's Pemberley. The drive through the rolling Peak District countryside was breathtaking, with stunning views around every corner—and plenty of close-up encounters with the local sheep, which added to the charm! The tour finished at the spectacular hilltop viewpoint featured in the 2005 Pride and Prejudice film. The hike up and down the hillside was well worth the effort, rewarding us with incredible panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. This was a wonderfully organized tour that perfectly combined film history, local heritage, beautiful scenery, and a bit of adventure. I would highly recommend it to fans of Pride and Prejudice, history lovers, and anyone wanting to experience some of England's most beautiful countryside.
