We had the worst experience with this company. We arrived at the meeting point on time with our 2 children just to find no guide there. There were 2 groups and they had no info about which group we will be a part of. They directed me to the 2 guides/ staff members who also did not help at all. I called them multiple times but got the message that the number is not in service. I then texted Viator with the hope of having some resolution or finding our guide but unfortunately, Viator was also were not helpful. I’m never gonna book on Viator. If you book through this company, you will most likely lose your money. Viator and the company has refused to send me the refund despite me going through all this trouble and without using their services and informing them on time. It’s a scam company and I lost all my money and went through such a difficult time with them.

At first, I was a little skeptical because I know the tickets are free to see the pope, but I thought it was well worth it for our first time in Rome and making sure we got the best seats to see the pope. It made us get there early so that we were able to get a good seat and the guide helped us not only pick the seat but told us some of the history of the building and square.

I was lucky and was the only English-speaking participant, had 1:1 supervision by Simona. It was very nice. She had some interesting background information about the Vatican for me. She made sure I had a great place in the audience. It was great. Thank you for that!!

1) Was moved from English to Spanish group. 2) Our group was one the last to move 3) Because of that the seats weren’t that good 4) The Popemobile didn’t even came close 5) Disappointing experience. We could to the same by ourselves and the reason for 3 stars is that the guide had nothing to do with all this and she seemed knowledgeable and committed.

Papal Audiences are always free. The description is misleading as it is worded to seem like there will be a tour of the basilica prior to the audience. This has someone giving some facts prior while you walk in as a group. If you’d prefer not to stand in a line to secure tickets yourself then this would be a paid option as they’ve already secured and retrieved the tickets for you.

The tour was very nice, the guide explained many interesting things about St. Peter's Square, but above all it was a unique emotion to be able to attend the meeting with Pope Francis, before his health worsened. I would recommend it to all those who feel the need to listen to the Holy Father and, at the same time, discover more details about the Vatican!

In November 2024, I attended a papal hearing with guide Frederica. I am Brazilian and the guide spoke Spanish, but was very attentive to make me understand what I was talking. The participation of the guide is to make a brief explanation about the Vatican and put us in the places that are near where the pope passes in St. Peter's Square. Tickets to the papal audience are free, but you need to request the invitation at the Vatican City Hall and when you pay you don't have that job.

Seeing the Pope in person and only 8 feet away! The event (every Wednesday) is excellently organised and presented. Go even if you have a different faith or none. Shortly after the audience, the band started playing but we had left the Square and could not regain entrance. Pity our Guide did not mention this extra attraction during her talk.
