滝のある Perge Aspendos Aquaduct 側

We booked two tours with Nirvana Tours during our stay in Antalya. The first was to Demre, Myra and the Sunken City, and the second included Perge, Manavgat Waterfall, Side and Aspendos Theatre. Unfortunately, both tours were disappointing, particularly in relation to the quality of guiding and the information provided. On the Demre, Myra and Sunken City tour, our guide did not accompany us around the historical sites. Instead, we were left to wander around on our own, without any meaningful explanation of what we were seeing. One of the main reasons for booking a guided tour, particularly to sites of such historical significance, is to benefit from the guide's knowledge and commentary. Without this, we could just as easily have visited the sites independently. Our second tour was also disappointing. When we arrived at Aspendos Theatre, we discovered that it was closed. We had not been informed of this beforehand. We subsequently discovered that the closure had been advertised on the official Turkish Ministry of Tourism website for several weeks prior to our visit. While we cannot say whether Nirvana Tours was aware of this, we would expect a professional tour company to check whether major attractions are open before bringing customers to them. What made matters worse was the guide's response. He dismissed our disappointment, suggesting that there was no need to enter the theatre as he could explain everything from outside. This was hardly an adequate substitute for visiting one of the most important historical attractions on the itinerary. More generally, we found the guide's historical knowledge disappointing on the one site on which he accompanied us. The information provided was limited, and some of it appeared to be inaccurate. We were particularly disappointed that we missed the opportunity to experience Aspendos Theatre properly, especially when there were other historical sites in the area, such as the ancient theatre at Side, which might have provided an alternative and which the tour guide discouraged use from seeing, saying we would be seeing the Aspendos theatre! Overall, we felt that the tours did not deliver the experience we had paid for. We expected knowledgeable guides who would accompany us through all the historical sites, provide accurate and interesting commentary, and ensure that the advertised attractions could actually be visited. We also believe that where a major attraction is closed, customers should be informed in advance and an appropriate adjustment or refund considered. Unfortunately, based on our experience of these two tours, we would not recommend Nirvana Tours to anyone whose main interest is exploring and learning about the historical sites of the Antalya region

Aziz and our driver were amazing

We had an amazing tour covering the hystorical sites in Side, Aspendos, the ancient city of Perge, but also the splendid view of Manavgat waterrfalls. The driver and our guide were wonderful persons, both professionally and bringing a warm human touch, making sure our needs were met. Also, the included lunch was one of the best foods I had during this vacation, highly recommend the grilled fish.

Very good, the guide was exceptional. Really enjoyed the all experience and learned a bit of of Antalya history.

Our tour guide, Mr. Kerem, shared invaluable and important information with us throughout the trip. Although the tour group consisted mostly of foreign tourists, they were very attentive to us and provided explanations in Turkish. Our delivery driver was a really nice guy. There were three options for lunch: fish, chicken, and meat. I had trout, and it was really delicious. It was a wonderful tour experience, I enjoyed it very much.

Friendly and professional staff! I recommend!

It was a great tour. Experienced guide tour and driver. Tour was not overcrowded. We were lucky to visit out of season.we enjoyed the tour.

Thank you for the tour, we really enjoyed it despite the rainy day. Thanks to our guide who was very nice and friendly ( Ibraghim, sorry if I misspell the name) and to our friendly driver. The food was very good ( we tried fish and meat kebab-all good, kebab a little bit spicy). There were umbrellas in the car so we didnt get wet. Waterfal was nice, 20 min is enought, Aspendos-very impressive, Side -beautiful seaside promenade with big waves) and Perge-for me the best out of trip-the guide showed us the most interesting things and we walked together around 30-40 min but I wish we could spend more free time there, after the guided tour, at least an hour, 30 min definately not enought..but the tour was very interesting and definately worth going!

The Highlights ​Perge: Walking through the Roman gate and down the pillared streets felt like stepping back in time. ​Aspendos: Seeing the best-preserved Roman theatre in the world is breathtaking, but hearing the history of its acoustics and construction made it even more special. The real star of the show was our guide, Cem. He is exactly what you want in a guide: Highly Knowledgeable: Cem didn't just rattle off dates and names; he told stories that brought the ancient ruins to life. His passion for archaeology and history is infectious. The "Hidden Gem" Expert: This was the best part! Beyond the main attractions, Cem showed us several tucked-away spots and unique vantage points that we never would have found on our own. It felt like we were getting an exclusive, "behind-the-scenes" look at these ancient cities.
