Do not waste your money. Although the ruins are quite spectacular, you are rushed. Our guide (Yucel) had a thick accent, gave garbled information , did not answer questions, and tended to talk with his mouth away from the crowd. Halfway through the tour he gave up using amplification and just shouted so you could understand nothing. Many of the people on the tour gave up and just wandered away because they were not getting any information . Perge was interesting but we had little time. Side was a tourist trap. It might be spectacular later but right now you can't see a lot. The theater in Aspendos was very grand and interesting. Lunch was good. But it was a lot of time in a bus for no information and time with a bad guide. So often these tours depend on the quality of the guide and we drew the short stick. I would not recommend this for anyone.

We were so disappointed. We chose this tour because the reviews raved about the guide. We were not so lucky. Our guide Yupik? was almost impossible to understand as his English was so accented. I can only imagine how the second language people felt. To make matters worse, after lunch he dispensed with the sound system and yelled at us instead. That made him even harder to hear let alone understand. When at the theater the Rick Steeves guide was there with a group and I learned more from eavesdropping on him for 10 minutes than the whole day with Yupik. He was also curt when answering questions and walked well ahead of the group. At one point one of our members fell to the sidewalk trying to keep up with him. We picked her up but he was so far ahead he didn’t notice. At lunch he disappeared into the restaurant leaving us all to try to figure out where we were supposed to go. I would certainly not recommend this guide to anyone. It was nice to see the ruins but I expected some context. The waterfall was not worth the time it took to drive there. I would have much preferred more time in Perge. That site was so rushed. The pick up was smooth and the driver was fine however the day was ruined by the guide. Holiday days are precious and to waste one was very upsetting

We have really enjoyed the tour! The guide brought to life the spectacular ruins and unique historic spots by telling us about them. Also the food was good, the fish and vegetarian side dish. We ate quite a large portions:)

Really enjoyed visiting Perge and Aspendos. Side was too crowded for our liking. Side ratio of shops to ruins was too high. Tour length was good. Lunch was okay; too late in the day and rushed. Guide and driver were good. Although our guide’s accent was hard to understand at times. However, he was very cheerful and managed the time effectively.

All was good. Program was very interesting and pleasure

Ali and Yucel were great. Explained everything in detail. Good food too.

Izzy was the best guide! He was very knowledgeable. The trip came with a delicious lunch.

We had a good experience with a friendly and knowledgeable guide ( Yucej ) and a good driver (Ali).. This is an easy and economical way to see some fantastic historic sites.
