Great informative tour of Penang with Jeff, showing us various elements of this great location. Highly recommended.

Eng picked us up punctually as arranged to a great start for our day of exploring Penang. He provided us an itinerary before we set off but offered to make any changes we wanted which we did. Eng was energetic & enthusiastic to make our experience enjoyable. He added a lot of colour to the sights & we learned a lot of interesting insights about Penang & the places we visited. We wanted to eat certain Penang favourites and he kindly took us around to do that. A very pleasant surprise was Eng taking the initiative & volunteering to take pictures of us at the various sights. His driving was smooth & careful and he was generous in sharing tips for our trip.

Jeff was our driver/guide for the day and he was excellent - he picked us up promptly and we asked to deviate from the standard tour and see some specific sights, which was no problem - we visited the Goddess of Mercy temple, a couple of local villages, Kek Lok Si Temple, Penang Hill, and ended with a walk around the Armenian Street area of Georgetown. Jeff accompanied us as we walked around, and was able to tell us all about the things we were seeing and the buildings we were walking in/through - his knowledge was amazing1 Highly recommend this trip - it can be varied, from the calmness in the hills to the hustle and bustle of Georgetown - and the itinerary can be flexible if required. If you get Jeff as your guide you will definitely get lots of valuable insights and information.

Fantastic value for money. All down to out guide. Eng was perfect. Great information. Took great photos of us in each place. Bought us street good and food on the jetty at the end. Highly recommend. Even more so if you get Eng as a guide.

Eng was our guide for the day and he was brilliant! He created a tour for us as a family and with a 6 year old and 16 month old kept them both entertained throughout the day but also was really informative to the adults. We covered a huge amount in the time and visited all the spots we wanted to cover and wouldn’t have had the experience we did without a guide. Would highly recommend!

A full day with varied activities to keep everyone interested. Max was a wonderful guide, we had pretty bad weather but he changed the activities seamlessly to suit our group. Max was unbelievably knowledgeable about the places we visited and both history and current life in Penang. He was able to keep all members of our group interested throughout. We were very impressed with the whole day, we loved the food from the hawker centre and there were choices to please the fussiest of children. Thank you Max for a wonderful day.

Having limited time in Penang, I booked a private tour. My driver/guide, Mr. Eng Choon Wooi, provided comfortable transportation and interesting commentary at my chosen destinations, the Kuan Yin temple and Penang Hill. He also found a great local vegan lunch spot, and we had time after that to see the Peranakan museum. I relaxed while Eng waited in line to buy tickets or went to fetch the car. He knew the best routes to take and the best photo spots, and answered my questions about life in Penang. I'm glad I booked this tour.
