As someone who loves to cook, I’m always looking for unique culinary experiences when I travel, and this was easily one of the highlights of my time in Bali. The day started with a fascinating market tour where we got to sample local fruits, snacks, and ingredients that we’d never seen before. We then visited the farm to learn more about the produce and Balinese cooking traditions before heading into the kitchen. The class itself was fantastic—we learned to cook seven delicious dishes from scratch, and every step was explained so clearly. Our instructor, Juni, was absolutely wonderful: knowledgeable, patient, fun, and passionate about sharing Balinese culture through food. Even my friend, who has very little cooking experience, left feeling confident and excited to recreate the dishes at home. We’re already looking forward to returning to Kenya and cooking a Balinese feast for our families. If you're visiting Bali and enjoy food, culture, or simply trying something new, this is a 10/10 experience and an absolute must-do! Thank you, Juni, for such a memorable day—we'll be talking about it long after we leave Bali! 😊

Really enjoyable cooking class this evening. The farm tour was really interesting and we got to make such a variety of dishes including two starters, two mains and a dessert. Our instructor was great!
