I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with Peak 1 Express was unacceptable.
I booked and prepaid for an airport shuttle from Denver to Breckenridge directly through Peak 1 Express. After my flight landed, no one ever showed up to pick me up. I waited at the designated location for 40+ minutes, called multiple times, and was unable to get any help. I was completely stranded at the airport with no communication or explanation.
Because I still needed to get to Breckenridge, I had no choice but to get an uber, despite already paying $64 for the shuttle that never arrived. To make matters worse, I was never proactively contacted, offered assistance. I was refunded but essentially ghosted as they would not answer my calls. I requested a callback and remained on hold with customer service for 15+ minutes but was never able to speak with anyone and forced to leave a message.
Transportation companies understand that travelers are relying on them after flights, often in unfamiliar places. Being left stranded with no communication is incredibly stressful and completely unacceptable.
If Peak 1 Express had acknowledged the mistake, communicated with me, or worked to make the situation right, I would have been much more understanding. Instead, I was left to figure everything out on my own while out the cost of both the missed shuttle and an expensive Uber ride.
Based on my experience, I would NOT recommend Peak 1 Express and would encourage others to have a backup transportation plan if they choose to book with them.

Great service
I’ve taken Peak Express twice to get up the mountain to Keystone. Both times it was comfortable and efficient. The drivers were very professional and polite. I would highly recommend this service.

Miles Rocks the Miles!
Miles is fantastic! He navigated bumper-to-bumper, slow moving traffic, passenger frustrations, and obnoxious drivers who were in a hurry. He maintained a sense of humor, professionalism, and courtesy. I felt like precious cargo.

Left us in the cold
Unacceptable level of lack of communication on the morning of our shuttle. We waited outside in the cold for over an hour and kept having to call dispatch for updates. When the driver finally arrived we saw we were only the second passenger and the first pick up was also picked up an hour late. This was a 6am shuttle. The only possible reason is that the driver decided to start his drive an hour late and didn’t communicate this to the passengers at all. There was no apology or acknowledgment of delay.
On top of all of that the heat in the van must have been broken or off because we were shivering in full winter gear for the entire 2 hour drive.

A delay of that length, especially on an early morning pickup, should have been clearly communicated, and you should never have had to repeatedly call for updates. We also apologize for the lack of acknowledgment from the driver. That’s something we take seriously.
Regarding the vehicle conditions, the heat should absolutely have been functioning properly, particularly given the temperatures in Colorado. Riding for two hours without adequate heat is not okay, and we appreciate you bringing that to our attention.

Peak 1 refused our reservation and left us stranded
Absolutely terrible experience. In short, our confirmed and well documented reservation was ignored by Peak 1. We were left stranded and forced to pay a much higher fee for alternate last minute transportation. Peak 1 contacts were completely unconcerned and useless. Never again.
