Two thumbs up for Zach and this experience. His driving let us relax and we still got to see the sights with ease. The view was amazing, his suggestion for food was appreciated (with enough time to relax) and a little wildlife too ! Thanks !
Micah was great. He made sure everyone had plenty of water throughout the day and gave interesting CO history as we traveled to Garden of Gods & Pike’s Peak.
The views were unbelievable! Definitely recommend this tour. Make sure you are hydrated. The gift shop at the summit sells oxygen cans if needed!
If you are even thinking about going to Tanzania, do yourself a favor and check out Globus Tanzania: The Serengeti and Beyond Small Group. I took my daughter and four young adult granddaughters on this adventure and as one granddaughter said, "Words cannot describe this experience." Our expectations were high but Globus exceeded them in every way. The accommodations were fantastic, the group was interesting and congenial, our Tour Manager, Daniel (Danny) was the perfect combination of knowledgeable, organized, personable and with a great sense of humor. Our driver, Ephata, was also knowledgeable, funny, helpful and a superb navigator on Tanzania's rugged roads. We saw more animals than I ever imagined possible and almost all of them were very close to our wonderful safari vehicle. Globus even added some very special treats: a fantastic bush breakfast with champagne; a lovely sundowner overlooking a lake; a hot lunch in the Ngorongoro Crater instead of a box lunch like everyone else had; lunch and tour of renowned Gibbs Farm; and a magnificent farewell dinner in the bush by a blazing campfire. Everything about this trip was magical and provided memories that will last a lifetime for all of us.
Wonderful scenery and experience! Alex was super friendly and knowledgable. We went on this tour as our final day trip during vacay. Pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods did not disappoint. Lovely stop in Manitou Springs for lunch was nice for a yummy bite and some shopping.
Eat fast food in Manitou because you’ll want more time to explore the shops. Plenty of artisan shops and things to do for the whole family. You’ll wish for more time.
Alex did a great job in guiding the tour. He shared a lot of great insights during the day. He was very courteous and was concerned about our well being with the high altitude.
