It was refreshing and shocking to be able to relive what happened that day in a real place. Soft talk and VR experience, the same scenery felt a little different before and after wearing VR goggles. Actually, it wasn't like this... right? Slowly and slowly, a lot of emotions came into my mind that made me think about why I was here… living… peace… so much. After the experience, I went to the Peace Museum and it made me think even more deeply. The knowledge I gained from TV and books made me resent myself for what I thought I knew, relieved at the friendlyness of the people of Hiroshima, angry at the inbounds laughing and talking at the Peace Museum… It really touched my emotions. Also, I wanted to experience the fact that the VR with student attendance that I heard was deleted, no matter how gruesome and sad it is.

Worth it, the tour guide Yakuza is very professional. The whole process was very pleasant, and the VR short film started from the perspective of the survivors, bringing the whole war to the influence of the Hiroshima people. Visit the park, see the monuments, learn about history, let everyone

Watching Hiroshima in VR at that time while walking in Peace Park made me feel more real than just knowing history. It was a tour that was easy to understand before, after, and after the bombing, and was recommended for first-time visitors to Hiroshima.

An 80-minute tour with a careful guide. It's so full and so cheap. The reality of Hiroshima before and after the atomic bomb was dropped is not very real because you can relive the place where the event happened. The guides were also very kind and I wanted to make sure I showed my friends who came to Hiroshima.

Definitely a worthwhile experience. The VR videos themselves are cartoon-y animations, not hyper realistic which is a good thing I think in that it's not too overwhelming to see the recreations of what happened. Some people may need a trigger warning: there's animations of people on fire. Overall the tour is a good quick intro to the Peace Park and the events of the day, and some stories from survivors that are worth hearing. I've actually done this tour twice now and both times my guide had relatives who were survivors of the bomb.

It was good to think of the old scene. I was able to see the war experience in VR and learn more about it.

My husband, myself and three teenage children - tour last week during our recent visit to Japan. It was one of the most impactful experiences of the trip. As we were very limited on time in Hiroshima, I decided to book a guided tour to fit in as much as we could. I am so glad I chose the VR goggle tour as it added a whole new dimension to our understanding of what happened on the day of the bombing. This is not just a tour - it’s an experience that truly brings history to life in a way that photos, videos, or written information alone simply cannot. Using the VR goggles while standing in the exact locations where the events unfolded was profoundly powerful. The visuals are slightly animated rather than graphic, so it wasn’t overwhelming or gruesome, but it conveyed enough emotion and realism to deeply move all of us. It allowed us to connect on a human level, and gave us a greater understanding of the scale and impact. The tour itself ran for 90 minutes which suited our family perfectly. Our guide, Kazuko, was absolutely wonderful. She greeted us warmly at the start of the tour and immediately made us feel welcome. She was kind, patient and encouraged questions. She did a great job keeping us engaged, including our teenagers. We were so engaged and curious that we ended up running slightly over time as we asked so many questions, but Kazuko very kindly offered to extend the tour by an extra 10 minutes to ensure we didn’t miss anything. Thank you Kazuko. We are so, so glad we chose to do this. It was a deeply moving, educational, and unforgettable experience.

Tour around the Atomic Bomb Dome and watch 360° VR footage of the original bombing at several locations. I don’t walk around with my VR goggles on, I stop at a specific place and watch VR. Watching the re-enactment of VR at that very place really made me realize that there was that tragedy at this place. I felt a strong connection of time. It was also good to have a guide explain the atomic bomb building and the atomic bomb dome.

I joined with my kids. It was a VR experience after visiting the Peace Museum first, but the guide told me carefully and I nodded "heh!" a lot. The basement of the rest house was something we couldn’t go to ourselves, but it was nice to have them show us around and find out something new! VR experiences are becoming popular in tourist areas. I think it's good for children to experience realism. Thank you, Mr. Guide.

An incredibly moving experience that takes about an hour. Our guide, Mari was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. I would 100% recommend this tour as an add on to all that is offered at The Peace Park. Can easily spend several hours in the park looking at all the exhibits. The VR tour with Mari was very good, very respectful and so sad. Mari also recommended we try Hiroshima Okonomiyaki whilst there- that we also recommend.
