広島城は鯉城としても知られ、日本の広島にある歴史的建造物です。1590年代に建てられ、広島藩の大名の居城として使われていました。1945年に原爆で破壊されるまで、この城は重要な軍事・行政の中心地でした。その後再建され、現在は広島の歴史、日本の封建建築、江戸時代の武家文化を知ることができる博物館となっています。堀と緑豊かな庭園に囲まれた城の敷地は、美しい散歩道と、周囲の近代的な街から離れた静かな隠れ家となっています。

広島の原爆ドームは、もともと広島県産業奨励館として建てられたもので、核兵器の破壊力を厳粛に思い起こさせる建物です。爆心地近くに位置し、1945 年 8 月 6 日の原爆投下後も残された数少ない建造物のひとつです。むき出しの鉄骨と崩れた壁が残るこの不気味な廃墟は、平和記念碑およびユネスコ世界遺産として保存されています。世界平和と核兵器廃絶への希望を象徴し、世界中の訪問者にとって感動的な教育と瞑想の場となっています。
広島平和記念公園内にある「原爆の子の像」は、佐々木禎子さんと広島原爆の犠牲となった何千人もの子供たちを追悼するものです。放射線被曝により白血病を患い、平和と癒しの象徴として折り鶴を折った禎子さんにインスピレーションを得て、この像には金色の折り鶴を頭上に掲げた禎子さんの像が置かれています。像の周囲には世界中の子供たちから送られた何千もの色とりどりの折り鶴が置かれ、平和と核兵器廃絶への普遍的な願いを象徴しています。

Chisa was a wonderful tour guide. We got an introduction to Hiroshima as a city, made wishes at the Gokoku Shrine and learned about legends in adversity. Chisa took the time to educate us on the financial and political reasons surrounding the war, before showing us the A bomb done and surrounding grounds. We found her family stories and insights to be very personal, and although we discussed the tragic event, the tour was ultimately inspiring and reminding us of what matters in life. I would highly recommend booking.
Ended up being a private tour due to bad weather and Thomas was a super guide. Recommended!
Incredible curated itinerary with a lovely, funny, passionate Thomas as my guide, who clearly felt very deeply for the victims. Tour was so good that I could feel myself tearing up along the way wanting desperately to learn more about the world's history.
Our guide was fabulous and the tour very informative. I came away with a whole new appreciation of how the bomb affected those in and around Hiroshima, including feelings and opinions now. Highly recommended.

My tour with Emi was amazing, I really learned a lot about Hiroshima and its history! I found the tour really eye opening and it offered a great blend of historical and modern day Hiroshima! Emi was a very friendly and knowledgeable tour guide!
Katia gave a really informative tour around Hiroshima Castle and Peace Gardens. She was very helpful and knowledgeable, answering all questions. Definitely recommend this tour as just about the right length.
Our tour with Emi was one of the highlights of our trip to Japan. Emi shared a deeply personal connection to Hiroshima—her great-grandfather died in the atomic bombing—and her perspective brought an incredible level of authenticity and emotion to the experience. Her storytelling skills were exceptional. From beginning to end, she completely captivated my 19- and 17-year-old daughters, which is no small feat. She masterfully wove together the historical context, the Japanese perspective, the events leading up to August 6, 1945, and the devastating aftermath. The subject matter is heartbreaking, but Emi presented it with compassion, insight, and just the right amount of detail (even some humor woven in). We left with a much deeper appreciation of Hiroshima’s history and the resilience of its people. Can’t recommend this enough. We followed this with a tour of the museum (skipping the island as we only had one day). Again, probably one of our favorite days in Japan.
Chisa was great! I was alone on the tour, and she still conducted the tour. Very nice, very attentive. I was also recommended a very good sushi restaurant! I would definitely book it again.
