The Perez Art Museum in downtown Miami is a contemporary showplace of collections of art that we have not seen in any other locations. It is a beautiful building, with room after room of enjoyable art. Don't miss the Ping-Pong tables on the first floor. We also enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Verde, the Museum restaurant. Our server Mario was wonderful, and my wife and I enjoyed fish tacos and Croque Mamasita dishes that were both superb. Admission price was reasonable. Parking? We it was certainly convenient...but $18...Well, welcome to Miami.

We visited the PAMM whilst we were in Miami recently, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It’s a beautiful building, right on the waterfront, easy to get to via the Metromover, and we really liked the exhibitions they had running. The ‘Sports; Art, Culture, & Fandom’ exhibition was great, and the Chromosaturation installation was fascinating. It’s a beautiful building to wander around inside. We ate at the restaurant too, and the meals were delicious. We would definitely recommend visiting the Perez if you’re in Miami.

The Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) houses a collection of international modern and contemporary art from the 20th and 21st centuries. There are two floors. I really enjoyed it, particularly the second floor. Easy to navigate. Staff were friendly. Clean. I spent around one and a half hours there, but you could easily spend longer depending on your interests. Information is in English and Spanish. Adult ticket price (November 2025) cost 18 USD. The gift shop as you exit is worth a browse. Lovely views overlooking Biscayne Bay.

I always start with parking! $16 at the Pérez gets you all day, safe parking, just underneath the museum! A must if you intend to sneak out for a quick bite. The museum itself is nestled on the sparkling edge (and it did sparkle as the sun hit the waves, so beautiful) of Biscayne Bay, the Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) is more than just a modern art museum—it’s a cultural sanctuary and architectural marvel that reflects the soul of Miami. Extremely rude staff contaminated the experience. The 18.00 parking plus 18.00 per person ticket would have been worth it except for that.

Spent the afternoon here while in Miami for three nights. It was a very nice modern art museum with lots of different exhibits from the region. The costs to enter was reasonable. We were able to take the Metromover here from our downtown hotel. The park around the museum was beautiful. The staff were very helpful. You do have to download a map and audioguide (free) if you want either.

Waste of money. $18 to park and $18 admission. Then there is nothing to see inside! Can tour the whole place in 15 minutes. I have seen better artwork at a high school show. Staff is unpleasant and look like they don't want to be there. Save your money!

The major museum in Miami, but without many of the pieces you would find in a typical anchor museum that has a bit of everything for everyone. In that way, it’s very Miami. There was an absolutely fantastic interactive art installation that was easily worth the price of admission called Liminal by Leandro Erlich. It's only there until September 4, 2023 - so we'd recommend a visit before then! The rest of the museum isn’t bad at all, but leans towards the modern. If that's your taste, then you’re likely to enjoy it. One note is that there is a parking garage, but it was listed as full when we arrived. They give you a deadline of 10 minutes to try and find a spot and we did, but it could’ve been better organized (and not an additional $18). Regardless, the museum was enjoyable. Don't miss the outside art as well - the Dogs & Cats Walkway was especially lovely.

If you are tired of the same monotonous, stuffy art that is displayed in all the major museums, come visit this gem of a place by the waterfront with a very inviting park and outdoor area. The building itself is very interesting and the art inside is not your run of the mill stuffy stuff. It is primarily from Cuba and South America. All very well presented in a single walking direction.

I was less than impressed by the permanent collection as a whole. Mostly pieces that did not interest me. However, there was a marvelous exhibition of the works of an artist named Fernandez, who works in many different materials and, mostly, at monumental scale. Make sure you visit the exterior,
