These guys know how to Manta. They have mastered the art to throw a cookout and host Manta rays. I had the most incredible manta night dive with Aquatic Life Divers—truly one of the most amazing experiences of my life. From the moment we got in the water, it felt like stepping into another world. As the lights illuminated the ocean below, manta rays began to appear… and then more… and more. It quickly turned into a full-on manta feast. At one point, I counted at least twenty mantas gliding, circling, and swooping gracefully just inches away from us. It was absolutely mesmerizing. The team at Aquatic Life Divers was outstanding—professional, well-organized, and genuinely passionate about what they do. I will always trust this company with any of my future diving needs. A very special thank you to Mary, Dylan, and Captain Tara—a true winning team. They took care of everything for us and made the entire experience completely worry-free. Watching these gentle giants up close, barrel-rolling through the light beams as they fed, is something I’ll never forget. It’s one of those rare moments that truly takes your breath away. And Mary—thank you. You are, without a doubt, the queen of mantas. If you’re on the Big Island, this is an absolute must-do. I would go back and do it again in a heartbeat.

Top notch experience from the Capt Tara who was very knowledgeable and helpful throughout experience and the dive masters were excellent. I have to say a special thank you to Mary her excitement about diving is contagious and really made you want to come back to dive as soon as possible. The manta ray dive was really special, have done this dive before, but this experience with this company was very special. We were so close the mantas it felt magical and awe inspiring! Highly recommend doing this dive with Aquatic life, you will not be disappointed.

Capt. Tara was amazing, very informative and helpful throughout the experience. The dive masters on this boat are awesome! Very informative and knowledgeable. Have to give a shout out to Mary, her excitement for what’s below is contagious and inspiring! Makes you want to dive again as soon as possible. The Manta Ray dive was so wonderful, we were so close to them it was mind blowing and felt like a spiritual experience! Had done the Manta Ray dive in Kona before years ago, but this experience was very special and I would highly recommend using this company for this experience!

What a fantastic Dive company. They are very organized and safe. Captain Carlos was fantastic as was Dive Master) Dylan. We had both snorkellers and divers in our group and all got an amazing nature show. highly recommend.

Amazing close-up encounter with mantas. Crew and guides very professional with emphasis on safety and client care. Rental gear in good condition. Would dive with Aquatic Life again.

Amazing experience with a great group and boat crew!

Second trip out with the aquatic life divers.. after doing the morning 2- tank dive i had to go back for the manta ray dive.. And i was not disappointed as it was an otherworldly experience. The Valkyrie crew was fun and entertaining while also being very knowledgeable about the manta ray population around the Kona region. Once again i would highly recommend Aquatic life divers to anyone interested in a small group personal dive experience,

Captain Tara and the entire team were well qualified and extremely fun. A definite must for any visit to Kona and Kama'aina also.

We did the night-time "snorlel with the manta ray" tour. It was definitely an adventure. The crew and captain were incredible. The tour is a blast but be ready for cold temps, rough seas and adventrue. You only live once, so definitley plan it!
