Amazing snorkeling adventure in Captain Cook! The entire experience was fantastic from start to finish. Captain Jacob and crew were awesome — friendly, knowledgeable, and made everyone feel safe and comfortable. The snorkeling itself was incredible with beautiful clear water and amazing marine life. We had such a great time and would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Hawaii!

It was an awesome experience, the crew and snorkeling were great. Saw lots of different fish and the lunch was good.

The crew was genial, knowledgable and certainly helpful getting us ready to snorkel. The boat has a diving platform as well as a slide from the top deck into the water. Plus they provided a tasty sandwich and snacks.

This company is excellent. This was my second trip with them and it’s always an impressive crew and a memorable time. Great vibes, lots of laughs and wildlife spotting to write home about (we saw dolphins on the way back in addition to the myriad of marine life at the reef). In the winter, whales might be spotted. Good tunes, good food. It was literally the perfect day on the water. Hang Loose was recommended to me by word of mouth and I’m a repeat customer because it’s just a great tour. I’d go again if I came back here, too.

Very fun. It’s a pretty large boat with two decks. There were 33 people total on our tour including my family of 7. You can sit down below on benches or on top, hang on, and really feel the wind. They provide sodas and chips to snack on during the journey out, which is about an hour. Captain provides funny and insightful commentary and plays regee music. Once the boat arrives at the bay, we snorkeled and swam for a couple hours. Saw plenty of fish and the water was warm. They set out sandwiches and cookies for lunch. On the way back we cruised closer to the shoreline and saw some waterfalls and sea caves. Overall, this was the most fun thing we did during our week on the Big Island.

Great half day adventure. Well organized and a lot of fun. Perfect way to start a day. My family and I had a great time and would definitely schedule again!

It was a lot of fun! Jacob was very professional and friendly. The snorkel was great and my teens really enjoyed it. The lunch was delicious and we left full and happy. Don’t forget a beach towel.

My kids and I had an AMAZiNG trip! The captain, Bryce, was funny and shared some interesting facts making the experience fun and educational. Huge shout out to the crew men, Mana and Bruno, who went above and beyond to make sure everyone was comfortable and in safe hands the entire trip. They were constantly checking on families, offering assistance, and making sure everyone had what we needed. 10/10 recommend this crew if you’re looking for a trip worth your while! Their friendly and professional who shares the aloha spirit!

My best friend and I did the Captain Hook Bay snorkeling tour while visiting Hawaii, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. The snorkeling itself was beautiful, but what truly made the experience unforgettable was our tour guide. Out of all the tours I’ve done while traveling, he was hands-down the best guide I’ve ever had. He was incredibly funny, energetic, and genuinely great at connecting with everyone in the group. From the moment we got on the boat, he kept the atmosphere fun and engaging while also making everyone feel safe and taken care of. You can tell he really loves what he does, and that passion completely elevated the experience. A great guide can make or break a tour, and he absolutely made this one. I’d recommend this tour to anyone visiting Hawaii!!! and if you get him as your guide, you’re in for an amazing time. :) Thanks Peepeeohpee
