Baku Boulevardは1909年に設立された遊歩道で、Bakuの海岸沿いに走っています。その歴史は100年以上前に遡ります。バクーの石油男爵がカスピ海沿岸に邸宅を建てたとき、そして海岸が人為的に1インチずつ造られたときまで遡ります。
Heydar Aliyev Centerは、アゼルバイジャンのBakuにある57,500 m2の建物で、イラクのイギリス人建築家Zaha Hadidによって設計されています。このセンターの名前は、1969年から1982年までの間にソビエトアゼルバイジャンの初代書記を務めたヘイダルアリエフと、1993年10月から2003年10月までの間にアゼルバイジャン共和国大統領にちなんで付けられました。
アゼルバイジャンの首都バクーの歴史的中心地は、旧市街または都心です。旧市街はバクーの最も古代の部分で、簡単に守られた壁に囲まれています。 2007年には、旧市街の人口は約3000人でした。 2000年12月に、シルヴァンシャ宮殿と乙女の塔を含むバクー旧市街は、アゼルバイジャンで最初のユネスコ世界遺産に登録されました。

Very interesting City, both old and new. VERY clean. People very friendly and helpful.
On April 20, 2026, we took an evening tour of Baku. It was the best tour we've ever taken. The guide’s excellent knowledge of the history of Baku and Azerbaijan, culture plus love of his hometown combined with the ability to share this wealth with grateful listeners made the tour incredibly exciting and unforgettable!!! Ali was a great guide, showed us all the sites on the tour, and was very knowledgeable on the backstory. Unfortunately he made a mistake with the booking that meant he was over an hour late for the start of the tour, so have to knock off a star for that.
I loved everything about the trip and everything was arranged and organized in such an amazing and remarkable way really.

Flexible and accommodating guide. Start early if you can, they will avoid crowds and it doesn't get too hot. 10.30am and it is blazing hot in Oct. Bring umbrellas if sun isn't your thing. Private tours are good, get to customise your preferences. We took a drive in the comfort of our cool car instead of doing the 20min stroll, best decision ever. charming Old City. Recommended to walk again in the evening when the lights come on.

This tour was a fantastic way to get a full picture of Baku. We got to explore the charming Old City (Icherisheher), with its cobbled streets and ancient architecture, and then zoomed into the modern, futuristic side of the city, like the Flame Towers. Our guide was super passionate about the history and gave us a lot of cool insights into how the city has evolved. A perfect balance of culture, history, and the cutting-edge side of Baku. Highly recommend for anyone visiting for the first time!
This Old and Modern Baku City Tour was perfect! We explored the ancient Old Town and then saw all the futuristic buildings. Ali was a fantastic guide, sharing great stories about the city. Best way to see the mix of old and new Baku!
