We will right in front of the Koza Music Town Building
Toast with a local guide and a beer! Enjoy delicious local food! We'll be visiting a Izakaya in Koza Ichiban-gai. After meeting up, we will show you around Koza, a city with a mix of Okinawan and American cultures. After that, we will go to "Koza Ichibangai", a tavern crowded with young people, and enjoy "Senbero", Okinawa's drinking culture. Let's make a toast with Okinawan cuisine!
We'll be hop on to a izakaya bar in Nakanomachi area. Throughout the tour, listen to the local guide's explanation of the historical background of Koza and Okinawa, You can enjoy Okinawan food and drinks while listening to the local guide's explanation of the historical background of Koza and Okinawa. After experiencing Senbero culture, we will take you to "Nakano-machi" where there are many Okinawan home-style pubs. In the atmosphere of a traditional izakaya, you will be entertained with Okinawan specialties and drinks. Toast with a live sanshin (Okinawan guitar) performance by a local guide at a historic bar in Koza. Finally, we will stop at Gate 2, Koza's main street, and toast at a snack bar that has been in business for more than 50 years. You will deeply enjoy the history of Koza with music while listening to the sanshin, a traditional Okinawan instrument played by a local guide. Depending on the day and availability we might visit a Skate Board bar in Park Ave, instead of going to Koza Gate Street.

Clifford was amazing! He’s a super down to earth guy with a wealth of local knowledge. Great conversation and gained a great insight into Okinawan food, culture and music. We had an awesome evening being the only ones on the tour. Clifford took us around a variety of small bars with some super food options. The weather took a turn for the worse but it actually made the tour all the more fun! Hats off to Clifford! Definitely recommended!
Our tour guide, fukah, I’m not sure if I’m spelling it correctly but she was so sweet and she made conversation to the moments we had she choose amazing spots to eat and made the atmosphere great for people that is the first time here. I couldn’t have asked for a better time in Osaka
It was a great time! HIC explained the history of Okinawa in a very entertaining way. HIC also took us to a hidden bar that we would not have been able to get to on our own. It was fun. I would highly recommend it! Love to drink? Must book it!
I had a wonderful time with Magical Bar Hopping. First, we went to a local family owned museum where we learned about Okinawa pre-war and post-war relations with U.S. Forces. Afterward, we enjoyed drinks in the midst of Koza's many charming dive restaurant-bars. Then we went to an Izakaya with Okinawan style food, so delicious! And finally we went to a Karaoke bar and shared a lively time singing and listening to our guide play the Sanshin, a traditional Okinawan instrumnent. **ABSOLUTELY RECOMMENDED**
