Very valid visit, well organized, quite interesting in everything that is proposed, and for all ages.
Very well preserved museum, very good service. Well educational for children and adults. It was worth the visit, for the children's learning about the history and conservation of the environment and the marine and terrestrial creatures. Gabriel, an 18-year-old boy who works at the museum, is self-taught in marine biology and a passionate lover of the work he does! Congratulations!
The environment is wide, accessible and has a very rich collection. There are various items exposed, from fossils and preserved specimens to boat models from different civilizations, real equipment and fantastic replicas. The experience is super immersive, including a sensory laboratory where you can touch real bones and specimens. To complement, the outer area houses a jet, a helicopter and a super cozy cafeteria-bookstore. In addition to exposure, it plays an important role in raising awareness about the impacts of pollution. Very good!
Very cool! There's a lot of things, beautiful and educational. I just suggest that all or almost all of the pieces have an explanation, it would be even more profitable
For years we have been visiting the Côte d'Azur..Montecarlo included... This year we decided to visit the oceanographic museum.... Very sad experience, unhappy.... very dark place... and then see all the marine beings... caged in the ,, water boxes,,, so sad... but really sad... at the mercy of the humanoids... caused us a lot of sadness.... that after half an hour we came out.... away from that marine prison.... for those who are very sensitive.... to avoid... causes suffering in the soul PS: I would have photos .. but out of respect for these marine beings ... I don't publish them ...

Many pieces in the museum. They learned to take advantage of the small space and make a very pleasant and educational afternoon for children and adults.
We loved the walk. The exhibition is well organized and starts from the history of shipping, with beautiful models of boats from various periods besides very old pieces, passes through all animals, from the vertebrates (with well-preserved specimens of all groups, incredible) to the reptiles, birds and marine mammals. I, as a biologist and teacher, loved everything, but my husband and children also liked it a lot. The tour takes about 2h, it's just going following the corridors, well oriented and fully accessible. It ends up in a nice shop and still has the experience of touching several copies conserve in alcohol, taxidermized or dried....very curious and interesting. Friendly people, willing to help. We are well willing to explore everything...there is large parking, coffee shop with bookstore and antiques (very cool) and the access is easy by the highway. So I think we missed some identifications in some pieces....we became curious...but it is very worth it and it was not necessary to buy tickets in advance, we walked almost alone, even in the high season....
The place is amazing, sensational. Excellent structure! I will definitely come back bringing everyone from the family. Lots of pieces to see and lots of curiosities along the exhibition circuit.
