A brilliant day! Andrew was a fantastic guide, so knowledgeable and very funny! Lots of memories made!
Chris was a fabulous guide and shared tons of local knowledge with us. He made sure all our needs were met, including immediate access to a waterfall swim, where others had to wait. The tour was paced just right, and well thought out. He provided us with some fabulous photos at the end of the day - no dodgey selfies needed. If you want to really get your head around the island and maybe revisit a few places, this is perfect. Thanks Chris!
We had a great time exploring the island and stopping at some beautiful spots along the way. Chris, our guide, was knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging, and he truly made it a day to remember. Highly recommended!
The tour was amazing really got to see soo many beautiful sites in one trip, in only 1 day! A huge special thanks to the tour guide/our driver Andrew who was the toast of the entire tour: very well read on the island and Hawaii, very enjoyable and entertaining throughout the tour never felt bored at all set good vibes on the bus. On the sites themselves: the forest and waterfall was spectacular! Enjoyed the swim there too, Kahuku food trucks were the best a must experience had the largest and best burger and chips at The Seven Brothers at the price of a song compared to restaurants in and around Waikiki. Beach sites including the blow hole towards the end were amazing too not forgetting trips to local coffee, macadamia and pineapple farms...Lastly, a farewell treat from the hosts to top it off...Andrew you rock! Seven Brothers really is the best value on the North Shore, so hearing it beat anything you found around Waikiki made our day. Andrew puts real work into keeping the energy up between stops, and he will be thrilled you never felt bored on the bus. The waterfall swim and the blow hole are two of our favorites as well. Emily was an outstanding guide from start to finish. She knew every great camera spot and got us shots we never could have taken on our own, and she was deeply knowledgeable about everything we asked, from the history of the islands to the best food trucks. You ride in a new Sprinter van with strong AC and charging ports in the back. Bring a cable (I forgot mine). The tour opens at a coffee farm with great coffee and a quick bite. If you need caffeine early, come prepared, because that first stop is a bit of a drive. Waimea Falls was a highlight. We swam in the falls, and the hike in is short and easy. Emily spotted flowers and wildlife along the way that we’d have walked right past on our own. Lunch is at the food trucks, with something for everyone. We had excellent poke; my kids went for pizza and katsu. All of it was great. The stops on the back half of the island are paced perfectly, plenty of quick photo ops and lookouts over some of the most beautiful coastline you’ll ever see. Nine hours and fifteen minutes flew by. We were back in Waikiki before we knew it. Highly recommend Emily and this tour.
Emily has a real eye for the shots most people walk right past, so hearing you came home with photos you could not have taken on your own is the best kind of feedback. This tour covered so much of the island! Andrew our guide was incredibly knowledgable with great fun and historic facts. Fantastic tour! Take your bathing suit to swim by the waterfall. Great good stops along the way too!
That bathing suit tip is the one we wish every guest read before booking, so thank you for putting it right up front. Andrew has a knack for weaving the history in without it ever feeling like a lecture, and he will be glad it landed that way. Happy the food stops held up their end too. We had a wonderful time with our guide Emily. We hit all the spots we wanted to, the day was broken up well and we never got fatigued or car sick. Emily was awesome - knowledgeable, charismatic, and everything you wanted to in a guide. It’s a long day but truly fits the name “Oahu in a day”. Highly recommend this tour specifically - made our trip!
Pacing is the thing we obsess over most on this route, so hearing that nobody got fatigued or car sick is honestly the compliment we chase hardest.
