Excellent presentation with insightful knowledge and humor by Lawrence, we enjoyed very much.
Excessive price for the type of excursion, distance, and places visited? €120/person for an excursion 30 minutes from the port with two stops. The first one was 30 minutes at a beach, nothing to do with the city center. And the second one with 3 hours of free time. The price is inexplicable. And furthermore, Vexperio hints on the voucher that the tip is not included, recommending to give 10% to the guide and 5% to the driver. Total €140/person.
Dear Guest, We are sorry that you did not feel the tour offered good value for money. However, the price of a shore excursion is not determined only by the distance travelled or the number of stops. It also covers private transportation arranged specifically for cruise passengers, a professional guide, operational coordination and careful planning around the ship’s schedule. The itinerary, including the duration of the stops and the free time provided, was clearly described before booking. We must also clarify that the tour price was €120 per person, not €140. The gratuities mentioned on the voucher are simply customary guidelines for guests who wish to thank the guide and driver for good service. They are entirely voluntary and are neither required nor part of the tour price. Lawrence is a great guide. Very personable and knowledgeable. Right amount of narration and free time. Honfleur is a beautiful village. Well worth the cost of the trip.
