Excellent tour! Our guide Ash was very engaging and Charlie was a very safe driver! The 2 hour ride went by quickly and the provided lunch was an excellent taste of France!
Informative, well organized, great tour guide Ash. Totally recommend this tour and it's not just for WW II buffs. Got back to the ship an hour before it was leaving the port, so low stress!
This is a great way to take in as many of the D-Day memorials as possible in one day. Personally, I would have rather spent multiple days experiencing the memorials rather than an hour here and there; however, if you don't have that option, then this trip covers many important sights. Starting out at the cemetery for American soldiers was well thought out. It sets the stage emotionally, reminding you of all who were lost in the fight for freedom. Our guide, Sam, had a great depth of knowledge that he was constantly sharing with us. If you only have one day to experience these sights, then I recommend this tour; otherwise, spend many days to truly experience the memorial sights.
Don't miss this excursion! Our guide, Sam,, was very knowledgeable and made the long day fun. The homemade sandwiches and chips were good and left us more time to see Omaha Beach. Walking through the American and German cemeteries was a reminder of the cost of peace.
Lots of history to cover with this tour and Maja did a fantastic job of bringing it to life. Our day was long but Maja kept it interesting and was aware of the group’s needs. Surprisingly the lunch was delicious. Thank you for a great experience.

I will call Viator when I return home. People on our bus did not pay what we did. I saw the trip quoted for $116.00 per person, ours was much more. Thelma was enthusiastic and knowledgeable about DDay. This tour was while we were on Princess Majestic, needed more time at museum gift store. I had to leave my things on the counter because bus was leaving. We were told we weren’t even suppose to stop there??
Bucket list trip to Normandy Beaches/D-Day Tour was fantastic…Our guide, Ash, did a great job explaining what we were seeing and had many fun stories…Long day but well worth it…So glad to have checked this box on my bucket list…

Fabulous day - Thelma the tour guide was fabulous and she told us everything we needed to know and more. Everything about the day was great. Very moving experience seeing all those young lives lost though.
