We would never have gone to all of the wonderful places to experience the local food. Our guide Alessio was fantastic. The choice of restaurants, local shops for trying local food and then, of course, ending with gelato were bellisimo.

We had the BEST time on our food tour with Almu! 20/10!! We were traveling with our two daughters, ages 7 and 10, and Almu did such an amazing job making everyone feel included and comfortable. One of my daughters has a food allergy, and Almu was SOOOO accommodating and thoughtful throughout the entire experience, which gave us such peace of mind. She was wonderful with the girls and made sure they were involved, engaged, and having fun. Each stop was something different and exciting, and the tour had the perfect mix of appetizers, drinks, and more substantial food. Almu also shared so many helpful tips, interesting stories, and fun details about the food and the area that made the experience feel truly special. Our entire family had an amazing time, and we would absolutely recommend Almu to anyone looking for a fun, welcoming, and memorable food tour in Rome!

A very pleasant evening. Our guide Bryan was terrific - providing lots of great insights into the history of Rome generally and Trestavere in particular, as we walked through the neighborhood and sampled a variety of street food and small plates with wine in local enotecas and trattorias.

Our Eating Europe Trastevere food tour with Giuseppe was awesome. He was knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly connected to the neighborhood and the food. The stops were excellent, the pacing was easy, and he gave us the kind of local context that helped us find better restaurants for the rest of the trip. This was one of our favorite Rome experiences and I would highly recommend it. If you can book this as your first day tour, it is a great orientation to the most important part of Rome....the food and wine. We had a lot of tours during the week, many private, but Giuseppe was easily the most engaging, friendly, and entertaining guide we had and I loved the Sisters of Mercy t-shirt he was rocking.
