マウントバトゥール日の出トレッキング＆温泉ツアー

Our driver, Awan, was prompt, picking us up at 2:30 AM and getting us safely to our destination. He also quickly took us to all other stops - and patiently dealt with a lot of (unplanned) marathon traffic! Our guide, Tari, was amazing and showed us up the mountain. When the clouds at the top made it seem as if we would miss the sunrise, she took us quickly down below the clouds and we were able to get good views. She took a lot of good photos and videos, and was very knowledgeable about the area. The area is beautiful and a must do.

The hiking can be challenging. Definitely wear hiking shoes or boots if you can. If youre not feeling up to it, you can hire a dirt bike to get you nearly to the top. We chose this option and round trip it cost 1.3M idr for 2 people, but this saved us ~3 hours of hiking. The view of sunrise is great, just not sure it is worth hiking uphill for 2 hours at 4am in the dark. The hot spring they take you to is not a natural hot spring in the jungle somewhere, it’s more like an old amusement park that uses hot spring water. This park had a bunch of flies everywhere and the facilities were dingy and outdated. We left after about 30 minutes as our hotel pool felt like a much more comfortable option. We skipped the coffee farm because we went to one the day prior and already had a great experience with that. Overall our guides were kind and friendly, the experience just seemed to fall flat following the actual sunrise view, although we cannot comment on the coffee farm they take you to.

Great experience, definitely bring a warm jacket for the top. Made’ was our guide for the hike, she tailored the speed for each of us ensuring we all had a good time. Breakfast at the top was delicious (fresh fruit, banana sandwich, boiled eggs, tea/coffee and a chocolate bar each).

What a magnificent experience. Even being an intermediate level trekker I would not have done this without the guide who knew the track so well and helped where needed. Wayan was terrific and despite doing this trek daily for over 10 years (!) she made it feel like a very personalised experience for our small group. I would definitely recommend Wayan to anyone I know wanting to do this in the future.

It’s was spectacular view with safe guide. Everything went as planned. Smooth communication before trip as well as perfect organisation with transport. Driver was responsive came on time, comfortable and safe drive delivered. Fully recommended for those who don’t like to sleep till late and have beautiful morning sunrise hike!

Made was amazing ! Our guide was incredibly patient and attentive throughout the Mount Batur hike. She ensured we felt comfortable at our own pace, never rushing us, and always offering encouragement. Her kindness and professionalism made the experience truly enjoyable. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a supportive and knowledgeable guide.

This excursion was amazing and made even more so by our guide Made! It was definitely a challenging trek up the mountain, but Made was patient and kind on the way up and fun and silly with us on the way down. There are many guides but I would recommend you book with Made!

Great experience!! Highly recommend doing this! Made, our guide, was great! She was so nice and helpful. She carried our water for us and helped us take a bunch of cool pictures and videos. The hike was easy-moderate. Make sure you have proper shoes with good grip. Lots of loose sand/rocks. But Made knew where all the hard spots were and helped us up whenever we needed it.

Our hike was amazing. Our guide (her name was Made) made the experience absolutely incredible. 10/10 recommend this!

Jero our driver confirmed pick up time via whatsapp the night before and was on time at 2.15am. The same driver will also take you home. Made was our trek guide and she was incredibly kind. I was struggling with the slipperyness and incline of the hike and she was holding my hand majority of the way, she has a heart of gold and patience of a saint! I had a break every 5 mins and still made it for sunrise, so dont worry you can make it! There were two opportunities where they offer you a motorbike ride up to the summit (i think it was AU$35) but i declined (somewhat regrettably hahaha, i was hobbling for the next 3 days! I should have taken the Jeep tour in hindsight lol). Once at the top, your guide will prepare you breakfast. Unfortunately the clouds/fog covered the view & sunrise but im so grateful Made took some great photos of us for memories (at that point i was so exhasuted and couldnt muster any energy to take photos). I now look back on those photos and think wow i did it! I couldnt have made it without Made, she was a legend. Dont let me deter you, i am sure you will be fine, my husband gave it a 3 out of 10 difficulty haha. I was particularly struggling because my legs were already sore from the previous day. Id like to think i would have been ok if it werent for that! Book it, you will be glad you did :)
