Kevin is an expert guide who spots wildlife that seem impossible to spot, as well as lots of other interesting forest features. He also has an incredible amount of knowledge about the forest flora and fauna. We saw many amazing things, learned a lot, and left with stunning pictures. Monteverde area is absolutely beautiful. Kevin is also such a kind, patient, generous, and funny guy. He’s great to take these hikes with, and we really enjoyed our two guided walks with him. What an excellent, unforgettable experience. Highly recommend!
Excellent experience. Really loved learning about the history of the park and the nature. Jose was so knowledgeable and we were lucky enough to see wild boar, and lots of birds.
Fabulous hike with Kevin our guide. He was so knowledgeable and was able to spot some incredible CR creatures. He took photos with my phone via his awesome scope that he carried on a tri-pod, leaving us with some incredible photo memories.

Thanks to the directions of the guide we could see a couple of quetzals, which is one of the biggest attractions of the park, something that is not always achieved. Since it was not high season, we could enjoy a tour for only two people. The duration was shorter than stipulated, but in any case it was worth it.

Loved this tour in Monteverde with Kevin! Just be aware that you need to purchase tickets for the park in advance. We didn’t know until the evening before, and we were lucky that Kevin was able to secure some for us at the last minute.

Our guided wildlife tour in the Monteverde Cloud Forest was absolutely unforgettable. It was truly one of the highlights of our entire trip! We had the pleasure of exploring with Kevin, and he was phenomenal. His knowledge of the forest was incredible, but what really stood out was his enthusiasm and passion for the wildlife. He had an amazing eye for spotting creatures we would have completely missed on our own. Tiny, camouflaged insects, distant birds, and even well-hidden mammals. Every stop felt like a discovery. Kevin took the time to explain everything in a way that was engaging and easy to understand, answering all our questions and making sure we were just as excited as he was. You could tell he genuinely loves what he does, and that energy made the experience even more special. The Monteverde Cloud Forest itself is breathtaking. Our guide Kevin is an exceptional guide we saw 5 beautiful quetzals and bcp other birds and monkey thanks to the professionalism of Kevin it is impressive very nice he speaks a little French he manages very well thank you bcp for this visit 🤩🤩
Kevin knew so much about the forest and its wildlife. It was a treat to see a nesting quetzal and its mate. Kevin was our favorite tour guide.
The Cloud Forest is an amazing place to visit. It has a huge variety of plants, birds, and other wildlife - we even saw a female Capuchin monkey! Kevin was our tour guide. He has a vast knowledge of birds and plants. Kevin went above and beyond his duties to help us purchase the Cloud Forest admission which must be purchased separately from the tour. I highly recommend this activity. Early morning is the best time.
They accepted sudden changes despite making a mistake on the reservation date and noticing that they couldn’t cancel, and extended the time on the day, interacting with various guides to find the qetzal at the end! This guide is highly recommended!
