ヴェリコ・タルノヴォ郊外の丘の中腹に佇む神聖化修道院（プレオブラジェンスキ修道院）は、ブルガリアで最も重要で絵のように美しい正教会の修道院の一つである。 14世紀に創建され、その後19世紀に修復されたこの修道院は、霊的な遺産と驚くべき自然の美しさが融合しています。 修道院は、その穏やかな雰囲気、ヤントラ川の峡谷のパノラマの景色、ブルガリアの著名な芸術家ザハリ・ゾグラフによる見事なフレスコ画で知られている。

We spent an amazing morning with our guide who was funny, attentive, and extremely friendly despite the heavy temperatures. Incredible experience and I would highly recommend this tour, both the waterfall and monastery are worth the visit.

The place we preferred in Bulgaria is the Balkan Forest .For its hilltop villages and typical wooden and stone houses, it was like the Jura! We stayed only three days, two more would have been perfect!
