Mindo Cloud Forest Experience THE CUSTOMIZELY ONE from Quito（ミンド・クラウド・フォレスト・エクスペリエンス・ザ・カスタマイズ・ワン）

This was an action packed day and we were not rushed at any point. We made the most of all the activities and it was amazing hand feeding hummingbirds and we actually saw toucans after the zip lining! Jose was really friendly and made sure we had an amazing day. I would highly recommend this trip.

We had a wonderful experience exploring the Mindo Cloud Forest with Jose as our guide. We were honestly pretty tired going into the day after doing Cotopaxi, but from the moment Jose picked us up, his energy completely changed the tone. He was warm, funny, sociable, and immediately made us feel like we were in for a great day. We started with a traditional Ecuadorian breakfast in a beautiful location, then visited a hummingbird sanctuary, which became one of our favorite experiences of the entire trip. After that, we hiked through the cloud forest and visited five different waterfalls, with the chance to swim in some of them. We also did the cable car, a bit of ziplining, and finished with a chocolate tour where we learned more about how chocolate is made in Ecuador. Jose truly made the trip for us. He shared so much interesting information along the way, kept us engaged the entire time, and brought the kind of positive energy that made the day feel exciting instead of exhausting. Without him, we probably would have been too tired to fully enjoy everything, but we left feeling refreshed, happy, and grateful for such a full and memorable experience. Highly recommend this tour, especially if you want to fit a lot into one day while still feeling taken care of by a great guide.

It was a super pleasant trip with Jose. It was a lot of fun and all my wishes were taken into account. First we were at the hummingbirds, then at the butterflies, then at the cable car over the waterfalls. Once there, you can choose one of the hiking trails. After that, we went to the zipline and the chocolate tasting. It was a successful day.

My partner and I wanted to get to know Mindo, see hummingbirds, and visit the waterfalls, and the tour met what we were looking for very well. The itinerary was complete, with good optional activities, and it was very convenient that they picked us up directly at our accommodation. In addition, our guide, José, was excellent and contributed a lot to us enjoying the experience. It is a very good option for tourists visiting Quito. As points to improve, for the price we believe that breakfast and lunch should be included. The chocolate stop could focus more on explaining the production process, instead of being limited mainly to tasting products with the intention of buying them.

Everything was perfect! Communication was great, we loved the hummingbirds, our hike in the cloud forest was lovely and the waterfall was amazing. We also loved stopping at the chocolate shop. Highly recommend Jorge and Footprints Journey! Thank you for a wonderful day.

The guide arrived on time . He was very knowledgeable . He told us all about Mindo.. He helped us down the stairs and on and off the cable car. He gave us recommendations on where to eat good steak and Equadorian food. We enjoyed the traditional Equadorian breakfast. We were amazed at seeing so many humming birds and being able to have a hummingbird land on my hand. The butterfly sanctuary was also wonderful with so many beautiful species flying around. We were able to have a beautiful view on the cable car ride. Yumbos chocolates were delicious. Enjoyed sampling all the flavors.

I absolutely loved this tour, from the flexibility of the activities, through the friendliness, it was a great experience. I was so impressed with the variety of birds we saw, the change of scenery when reaching the amazonian type wilderness and the warmth of the people around us. I chose the chcolate optional and the small hike to the waterfall. (Around 100 metres of elevation up and down). The choice of chocolate was amazing and the tour on site very interesting. I cannot miss mentioning Jorge who's engaging conversation kept me awake even despite the 2 hour journey which is a feat that not many can manage. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Our experience with Jose as our guide was excellent! He was very knowledgeable about his country and Mindo and spoke English well which was helpful for our group of three. We started at the hummingbird experience which we found to be magical! The waterfall hike was beautiful and took about two hours. We also chose the 3 zip line activity nearby which we enjoyed even in the rain! Finally we visited Yumba’s Chocalate store. We learned about the process of making chocolate and got to taste a variety of flavors. I highly recommend this tour!
