Taking a tuk-tuk from Anuradhapura to Mihintale was our family’s highlight! The 30-minute breezy ride is a great prelude to the 1,840 granite steps. Don't worry—they’re wide, shaded, and manageable for kids. Peaceful and spiritual, It feels "untouched" compared to the main ruins. Wear thick socks! You must remove shoes at the top, and the sun-baked stones can sizzle your feet. Mihintale is a budget-friendly, high-reward climb that perfectly captures Sri Lanka’s soul and The view from the top is unbeatable. Highly recommended!

Communication was good and the tuk tuk arrived precisely on time. However was just a tuk tak taxi to Mihintale and back with some water bottle provided. Could have spent a fraction of the price using a taxi app.
Overall, we were very happy with the tuk tuk tour to Mihintale Anuradhapura. It was a great way to see the location and learn about its history. We would definitely recommend it to others.
