Hannah and Brad were excellent tour guides. Very knowledgeable and funny. Learned a lot about Mendenhall lake and the glaciers. Would highly recommend them.
Elishia and Sophie are outstanding guides. You can tell that they really enjoy what they are doing and are passionate about teaching people about the area.
If you want to see the Mendenhall Glacier up close you need to take a helicopter or canoe there. Cortland and Brady were excellent guides ensuring all guests were having a good time and were being safe. They were both very knowledgeable about the lake, glacier melting stats , forest succession, etc. They provide all the gear(gloves, waterproof pants, jackets, helmets, gloves) and it is very clean and fresh. I would highly recommend!!!
Excellent canoe outing with fun and knowledgeable guides, Joe and Elymus. We especially like the small group tour experience. We paddled through some gnarly weather to the glacier. Guides were positive and kept us on task. The brief hike to the glacier overlook was just right. We would gladly book a return tour with these two guides. The warm drinks at the tour end were just what we needed to cap off a wonderful day.
We had such a great time on this tour! Tor and Elisha were fantastic guides - they were professional, friendly, and vastly knowledgeable about the glacier and area. This tour was 100% worth it, and would highly recommend anyone else to go if they can! Thank you!
Hannah and Sophie were awesome! They were funny, entertaining, kind, knowledgeable and concerned with our safety and comfort. They made for an enjoyable excursion which was just incredible.
Our adventure began with a narrated car ride to Mendenhall River by Elymus. He gave us some whimsical history about modern day Juneau. Next we canoed across Mendenhall River with Elymus and Elijah leading the journey and Brady giving us the background of the local wildlife and views we were experiencing. Once we arrived at the glacier, we went on a short trek near the glacier and had ample opportunities to take photos. The whole trip was roughly 4 hours. Overall we had a great time and would book with this group again.
Tor and Joe were amazing!! We really enjoyed our tour with our teenagers.
Once in a lifetime experience. Tor & Elisha both made this an unforgettable experience for my family & I! Would recommend 10/10!!!
We had an absolutely incredible experience with Liquid Alaska on the Mendenhall Glacier Canoe Adventure! This was easily one of the highlights of our trip to Alaska and an adventure our entire family will never forget. Elemus and Joe were phenomenal guides - they truly made the trip. They were incredibly knowledgeable about Alaska, professional, fun, and made everyone feel comfortable and safe throughout the entire adventure. Their knowledge of the glacier, the area, and the wildlife made the experience even more special. We had kids as young as 11 all the way through adults on the tour, and everyone absolutely loved it. It was adventurous, exciting, breathtakingly beautiful, and truly felt like a once-in-a-lifetime experience. If you’re visiting Alaska, this is a MUST-DO! Don’t miss the Mendenhall Glacier Canoe Adventure with Liquid Alaska. And if you’re lucky enough to have Elemus and Joe as your guides, you’re in for an incredible day. We cannot recommend this experience highly enough!
