Driver was not very nice and I needed help finding him. He had a sign but stood very far from the rest of the companies with signs. On the way back, the driver left without calling us. I finally got in touch and he said he left because the hotel said we checked out. We had to check out but we’re of course waiting for the agreed upon time of pick up. When he came back, he had another person in the car making this not private at all. Super disappointing way to start and end our vacation.
Hello while I understand your encounter it is not what you see all the times is what it is. In the arrival area its huge something the driver has to find a spot that is further from the door to hold his name sign. We instruct our clients to look for their names when exit the door and many times myself as a driver and owner have situation where persons comes out call me right there and said they they don't see their name sign when I am standing right there. We encourage persons to look carefully for their name sign. For your departure pickup sometimes driver will have a staff on board for their pickup as thus is still considered a private Transportation as their are no other guest on board. At the riu hotels they only allow the Taxi only 5 minutes in the lobby for pickup guests that day the driver was there and the gards ask him to leave as his 5 mins run out, he went to the gate and park waiting to go back in when you call me and said you are ready then he came in for you at a second time he said the bellman told him you check out and went to the restaurant on the resort hence the reason he didn't see you the first time.
