Jonathan was an excellent guide. He has not only a deep knowledge of Manchester and history, but deep experience and many stories about the bands and music that originated here.
Gift from my sister, loved every minute. I’m a Manc and new most of it but tour guide was ace - unusual bright star shone all day too 😉

We had a great time on the music tour - Jonathan was very knowledgeable about the history of the Manchester music scene, and he was really funny too. We saw some interesting places, and learned a lot. Jonathan had some great anecdotes and kept the tour entertaining! I would definitely recommend the tour to others.
Knowledgeable guide who told varied stories throughout the tour and played song snippets for any/all bands she spoke about. Recommend ending tour at a restaurant or pub that plays Manchester music.
Unfortunately our guide failed to turn up - leaving a disappointed group waiting at the start point. Having worked for some time in the tour business, I understand the difficulties. However, to get no contact from the organisers whatsoever was the most disappointing part of it.
I enjoyed the experience very much learning places and stories of the most legendary Manchester bands as Oasis, The Smiths, New Order.. The tour guide Jonathan told us many curious anecdotes and made us dance and sing. Highly recommended. Ariadna from Barcelona

Fantastic tour around Manchester. Jonathan was very knowledgeable and had lots of interesting and amusing stories. Good value for money. Highly recommend doing this tour and would do another tour when I come back to Manchester
