Had a very good experience with Make it happen for our trip to Divar Island along with Tanvi as our story teller. She is very good at it. She made sure that we get to known each and every thing and not rushing to end it. Would recommend to book with them.

Through the doors of Divar!
I think we should have more than 5 stars as the option, because that's how this wonderful this experience was! Our guide was Tanvi, who we had gone on the old goa walk with. She was so wonderful on our last trip, that we had requested for her.
One of the most wonderful part of the Divar trip is we get to do it on the two wheeler. So we got to soak in the peacocks, the churches, the ghost stories .. all on a two wheeler we rode with full jollies. Tanvi's stories kept us delightfully going through it all. We even were lucky enough to see fireflies, with full moonlight!
The trip had a grand finale was the dinner hosted by Alinda and Antonio....one of the best meals i have had till date! From bread fruit fry to chicken cafreal to poi to fruit custard...all simply delicious! Accompanied with this were dinner table stories of the jackfruit stealing days, special mangoes of goa and most importantly heartfelt singing by Louis. Felt so privileged to have had this experience!
Highly highly recommend this trip to anyone who wants to explore this kutti little island in a much more personal way ♥️

Slow and impactful- Food/nature and music
The experience was truly very well curated.
We were met promptly by our guide Swynne, who had immense knowledge and training on the history and current facts about the island. She truly made this experience much better as she echoed back our excitement and was genuinely here to share every bit of knowledge.
Apart from this the meal curated by Annette and the music by Louis was just fabulous. Nothing I’ve eaten in Goa can even remotely match the warmth and taste in that meal. And the joy of singing and sharing the meal was simple yet so nice!
We were lucky to also find otters and some really nice native birds, thanks to my interest and Swynne’s will to be on bord with that!

A must Goan experience
Couldn’t have experienced Konkani and Goan life in a more authentic way. We had the greatest home food by a field and a musician come play for us.
Our guide, Swynne, was super knowledgeable and shared some really cool facts. Highly recommend visiting the island of Divar.

Incredible Divar Visit with Vimala
Had the best time with Make it Happen and Vimala especially, walking around the beautiful island of Divar.
With Make it Happen, the entire experience was smooth. We had actually booked earlier and had to cancel due to sickness and they kindly rescheduled. We booked on an anniversary important to us and they surprised us with a musician over lunch who was so sweet and warm. Enjoyed meeting him.
The few hours out with Vimala were so fun and informative - she really knows her stuff. From churches and step wells to the most delicious homemade lunch made by Alinda (what a spread that was, btw), the entire trip was special.
Thank you to everyone who made this happen!

Divar Island Tour
This was probably our **6th visit to Goa**, so this time we wanted to experience something beyond the usual tourist spots. We asked ChatGPT to suggest some unique, experiential tours, and it strongly recommended the **Divar Island tour**, with a suggestion to book it through *Make It Happen*.
We called the operator, and they were prompt in sharing all the details. The tour was beautifully curated and turned out to be one of the highlights of our Goa trip.
They had arranged a wonderful storyteller, **Mrs. Vimala**, who accompanied us throughout the tour. The experience included a guided tour of the island followed by lunch at a beautiful Indo-Portuguese home.
The island itself is **quiet, serene and incredibly picturesque**. With its beautiful paddy fields, quaint village roads and peaceful surroundings, it almost feels as though you have been transported to a completely different part of the world. It was a refreshing change from the usual hustle and bustle of Goa.
The **lunch at the Indo-Portuguese home was undoubtedly the highlight**. The food was absolutely scrumptious, and our host was extremely warm and hospitable. To make the experience even more special, a gentleman treated us to a lovely live musical performance during lunch.
Mrs. Vimala added immense value to the experience with her fascinating stories and detailed explanations about the village, its history, culture and way of life. She made us notice and appreciate even the smallest details that we would otherwise have simply passed by.
We took our car along on the ferry, which costs just **₹10 each way**. The entire experience is comfortably covered in a day. We started the tour at around **11:00 AM and returned to the starting point by 3:00 PM**.
For anyone visiting Goa for the first time, there are plenty of popular places to see. But if, like us, you have visited Goa several times and are looking for something **authentic, peaceful and experiential**, I would highly recommend the Divar Island tour. It was a lovely way to discover a completely different side of Goa.

Goa beyond the beaches
I had booked a trip to Divar Island with Make it Happen group. It was an excellent experience. Tanvi , the tour guide did a commendable job of bringing together the history, culture and everyday experience of people living here. I also got a chance to taste the local breakfast & listen to Goan music played by a lively person. So much to discover on Divar Island. Thanks for making it a memorable experience.
