I booked this workshop for my boyfriend as a birthday present and it was amazing. Miguel is really clear in his explanation, takes the time and really adapt to what my boyfriend wanted to learn. Miguel is very open, kind and knows a lot about the city too. It was a great experience, for seeing the city and learn and know more about photography. The communication with Miguel is perfect, and he responds very quick. Thank you so much.

Beyond the many "walk, talk, and take an occasional picture" photo tours, Miguel's tours are planned specifically for outstanding photo opportunities around every corner. You also get the usual discussion of history, culture and the sites, but with Miguel, you get curated photo opportunities, advise on settings and angles, and as much photography guidance as you desire. Guests also feel very much included in the conversation and experience which is rare for tours like this. Overall, quite simply, the best city photography tour I've ever done. In fact, we did 3 sessions with Miguel and all were outstanding - producing many photographs we will cherish. Very highly recommended when you are in Lisbon.

I had a half-day morning tour with Miguel that I liked so much, I did another night tour later in the week. Miguel is a wonderful guide, instructor, and photographer. He showed me places I would not have found on my own and explained the history, culture, and people of the location. I found him very knowledgeable about Lisbon, photography, and several other topics we discussed as we walked through Lisbon. He is very knowledgeable about camera settings, lighting, composition, and the story the photograph should tell. Not only did he help me get some wonderful photographs from the sessions, I also came away with new knowledge to help improve my photography. This was the second time that I walked with Miguel through the streets of Lisbon. It was a totally new experience in that it was in a different area. Miguel knows the city inside and out and knows where the most photogenic spots are.

Spending your day with Miquel at Lisbon photo is great whether you are really into photography or just an IPhone photographer. Miquel has a vast knowledge of photography and the local culture and he delivers it to you in a very informative and entertaining way. He also knows some great “local” restaurants.
