支笏自然情報センターへ インタラクティブな展示や大規模なカルデラ模型を通して、湖の地質、野生生物、季節を没入型で紹介することから始めます。 日本で最も透明で深い湖のひとつを探索 支笏湖は、北海道の厳冬期でも珍しい、澄んだ水が凍らないことで有名です。 モミ、トウヒ、カバノキ、タケなどが並ぶ静かなトレイルを散策し、生態系が季節ごとにどのように移り変わっていくかを学びましょう。 支笏洞爺カルデラがどのように形成されたのか、また、継続的な地熱アクティビティが周辺環境をどのように形成しているのかを理解する。 海岸や林縁ではエゾシカ、キツネ、キツツキ、水鳥などがよく見られる。 すべての年齢層に適した穏やかでゆっくりとしたペースでのお出かけ。激しいハイキングをせずに自然を満喫したい旅行者に最適です。 現地ガイドによるエキスパート通訳 セルフガイドではわからない生態や地質、季節の変化などを知ることができます。

Chris kindly accommodated us with very short notice on this tour, and then led us on a great experience around Lake Shikotsu. He is a great guide that along with the tour shared about Japanese life and culture. We would definitely do a longer hike with Chris if back in Hokkaido.

We had a fabulous day. Lake Shikotsu is beautiful and Chris is a brilliant guide. He was informative, responsive and very passionate and professional about his work. The tour suited us perfectly with an intro at the Visitor Centre and detailed descriptions about geology, plant and animal life on our walks. We’re looking forward to our next trip with Chris and highly recommend this tour.
