This experience was amazing! Kahoku was so knowledgable about sake. The food she made was INCREDIBLE. She is so talented. I highly recommend this experience. She is so kind and friendly, it was so much fun spending time with her.

We had a lovely time tasting five different sake. The session was relaxed and fun, and we were the only people there! This is a good option for beginners who are looking for a basic introduction to sake, as well as those who want a relaxed sake tasting in the centre of Kyoto and who do not want to dedicate half a day travelling to one of the larger or more time consuming tasting sessions at breweries in the suburbs.

My husband and I had an incredible time during this experience! Such a lovely way to learn about how sake is made, the different types, and compare multiple types! Our sake tasting host Kahoko was so friendly and right away my group knew this was going to be great experience because of how passionate she is about Sake. First time visiting Kyoto with my 5 friends and we booked this Sake tasting last minute. When we met Kahoko she was able to have us seated with her curated personal list of sakes for us to try. We took notes, laughed, learned about Kyoto, and the atmosphere of the bar was very inviting. The tasting experience was soooo fun and I would recommend Kahoko to anyone that wants to learn about sake for the first time.
