ホル・ヴィラップはキリスト教の受容と直結しており、アルメニアで最も有名な巡礼地である。 アルメニアのキリスト教は、トルダット3世王をキリスト教に改宗させる前に地下牢に幽閉された聖グレゴリウス智慧者の働きにより、301年に国教として採用され、17世紀にホル・ヴィラップ修道院の教会が建設された。 修道院からは、聖書に登場するアララト山の素晴らしい景色を眺めることができます。
百の洞窟の岩に囲まれた狭い道を抜けると、そこには自然との調和がとれた建築の光景が広がっていた。 精緻な建築的解決策と豪華な装飾で祀られた修道院は、13世紀のアルメニア建築の最も明るい例の一つである。 ノラヴァンクは、聖カラペト教会、聖グレゴリー・ザ・イルミネーター教会、聖アストヴァツァツィン（聖なる神の母）2階建ての教会からなり、理想的な建設的で彫刻的な働きで注目に値する。
2010年10月16日、タテブでは教会の鐘が鳴り響き、中世の修道院複合体を復活させるプログラムの立ち上げと「タテブの翼」ロープウェイの開通が喧伝された。 全長5.7kmのロープウェイは、11ヶ月でヴォロタン川の深い峡谷を抜け、緑豊かな森に覆われた丘陵地帯を通ります。 軌道は、その2つのターミナルの間に3つのタワーによって支えられています。 1つのターミナルはハリゾル村を見下ろす丘の上にあり、もう1つはタテブ修道院の近くにあり、タテブ村に向かう道路上にある。 2つのキャビンが同時に運行し、反対ルートを走行する。 ケーブルは全部で6本（各キャビンに3本ずつ）あり、このプロジェクトの仕様に合わせてそれぞれ独自に予見されています。 路面電車のキャビンは、ハリゾル村からタテブの壮大な複合施設まで、乗客を一度に30人、約11分以内に運びます。 「タテブの翼」は、ギネス世界記録に認定された世界最長のリバーシブル空中軌道です。
ザンゲズールの建築の柱のうち、タテヴ修道院には「ライバル」がいない。 かつてはアルメニアで最も裕福な中世の修道院であった。 タテブは宗教の中心地であるだけでなく、シュニク王国の重要な戦略的中心地でもあった。 自然に防御された場所に位置するタテブ修道院は、常にエイリアンにとって難攻不落の要塞でした。 政情が安定しない中で、要塞の領内にはいくつかの秘密の道が渓谷に通じ、修道院と外部世界をつなぐ役割を果たした。
