Interesting dance, cultural and tasting event. Punctual pickup at the hotel. Food versatile and it is regularly refiled. Unfortunately, only drink one drink, so score deduction. Basically but good event.

It was 1 hour experience so the food service was very rushed once everyone was seated. The waiting staff were very pleasant but the food seemed of cheap ingredients and was almost cold when it was served. The music was quite painful to listen to, and the dancing very amateur. Many people were leaving well before the end. Because we are older and need back support for seating, we requested a regular table and chairs, which we got. We were told there would be less visibility, which was right, we could hardly see anything. All in all, not a great experience.

The show was good, but it took a long time to serve our table and almost didn't pass, I had some dietary restrictions and when I was going to ask they couldn't answer me. But taking that out is worth knowing a bit of the local food and culture

Fabulous dancers and delicious food. Something for everyone! Nice relaxing dinner including a show with beautiful costumes and cultural dance.

Hotel pick up and drop off was great always early and patient. Driver spoke great English and spoke with us all the way to dinner. The dinner set up is in a Traditional set up on the floor and tables if you need them. The show was wonderful. The dinner was more like appetizer because it was very little, so if you are going to eat ...it best to eat before going

Dinner was good, and they upgraded us to the very front when there is an available sit on the floor. The performance itself was most enjoyable. Had a really great time.

It was interesting. The dancers were just “just okay “ .. nothing fantastic. The venue was very unusual.. and the best part was the interesting food. They kept refilling the little bowls as often as you liked and kept the water glasses full. There were options of alcohol for purchase. Everyone sat on the floor with pillows, except those who prefer a table must state it up front in their reservation. My friend is vegan , and they accommodated her immediately with tofu dishes. That was the most impressive part of the night. If I were to go to a dinner show again, I would probably enjoy a place with better dancers and a better venue, It became obvious why it was so “In-expensive”. The wait help were very nice. All and all …. It was just okay.

Is this a touristy thing to do attended by large tour groups? Yes. That being said, it is also something well worth doing. This provided a fabulous opportunity to gain some exposure to the various cultural traditions of Northern Thailand, including the Hill Tribes and and regional dances of the Chaing Mai area, plus the wonderful live traditional music both before dinner and during the show. Food was plentiful, interesting and endless - they were always offering to full your table with more! I was so sad when the show ended - but was happy to hear that they would be continuing the show outside! They started with a simple circle folk dance and invited audience to join, then had a spectacular finish with a fire spinning dance, brightly colored outfits, and a couple other folk dances including a wonderful one originally from Burma/Myanmar with a dancing "animal". I think this is great for all ages, but if you cannot sit on the floor - the traditional seating is on the floor with a bolster behind you - contact them ahead to arrange sitting at a table. You can still have a great view!
