We had a wonderful afternoon. Sho is a great host, very thoughtful and he looked after us really well. He showed us how to book the train, where to buy food, he provided snacks and also a chilly box to store any beer we purchased. He also took us to three excellent breweries with beer as good as craft beer breweries anywhere. Very tasty, rich flavours, well made enjoyable brews. We were enjoying the day so much we arrived back into central Tokyo an hour later than scheduled - it didn’t matter for us and Sho was happy to still be there. We went to an area 40 km from central Tokyo, west of the city. A beautiful area and we experienced a part of Tokyo the few tourists see. The afternoon was one of the highlights of our trip. Go ahead and book it, you will be so glad you did. We are.

Had a lovely afternoon. Visited the "real" part of modern Tokyo. All three breweries had great craft beer. Our host Sho, was a delight. Very cheerful and he made our visit special. Very relaxed tour. Id recommend if you are over the hoards of people at all the "tourist" spots.

This was a really fun tour. I joined because I like craft beer, but it turned out to be much more interesting than I expected. It was not just about going out for drinks. The train ride was also part of the experience. Shinjuku Station is huge, so I was a little nervous at first, but Sho guided everything very smoothly. When I heard he used to work on the JR Chuo Line, it made perfect sense. I probably would have been confused about the Green Car by myself, so having his help made a big difference. Each area had a slightly different atmosphere, and every taproom felt different too. The beer was great, and it felt special to drink local beer in the place where it was made. Sho was friendly and easy to talk to, and the tour never felt too formal. I would recommend it not only to craft beer fans, but also to anyone who wants to do something a little different in Tokyo.

This was a very good tour. I do not think there are many experiences like this in Tokyo. At first I thought it would just be a few beer stops, but it was actually enjoyable because the travel was part of it too. Taking the Chuo Line Green Car out toward Western Tokyo felt fresh, and I really liked spending time on the train and watching the scenery along the way. Each taproom had a different atmosphere, and I liked that each place felt a little different. You do not need to know a lot about craft beer to enjoy it, which was nice. It did not feel too technical or too serious, and I could just relax and enjoy the drinks. Sho was easy to find at the meeting point, and his guidance was clear the whole time. Because he used to be a train conductor, I felt comfortable leaving the station navigation and ticket details to him. What I liked most was that it felt more like a small journey than a normal bar-hopping tour. I would definitely recommend it to people who enjoy craft beer.
