Matthew is the BEST! I have a fear of the ocean and of course with that being said I have never kayaked. Getting over fears, and this was a GREAT experience!! I would totally do it again!

Jenna was a wonderful tour guide full of great history about the island and its wildlife. The journey was easy and relaxing on a beautiful day. We definitely recommend it this kayak tour.

An amazing experience with the best tour guide! We kayaked to a private beach and went swimming and picked sea shells and ate our complimentary snack. If you are going to go kayaking for the first time, this is the place to go.

We missed the tour, but were still able to get 2 hours of free kayaking time in. The description says its a 3 minute walk from the casino... assuming you know where that is. What the description should say is that its a 30 minute walk from the pier!

Amazing experience, Preston was kind, knowledgeable, very informative and made you feel at ease (for a first timer). Very happy for the experience!

It was a fantastic trip to Frog Rock guided by Nikolai! You can take great photos while kayaking! Highly recommended! ♡

Perfect distance of kayaking to Frog Rock/Beach. Free time on the beach to rest in the sun, swim or explore. I found a really nice shell souvenir. We were treated with water and cookies. On the way back we saw dolphins and seals playing. One seal came all the way to our kayak. It was our guide’s first “tour” and he did a fantastic job! I would do it again!

Preston was an excellent tour guide! So much history to the island and he does an excellent job teaching it! He’s very personable, which made the trip even more fun! Appreciate the pants he offered, because it was misty and cold the morning we went! The cookie and water were a nice touch! Overall it exceeded our expectations and would highly recommend Preston, the tour and company to anyone visiting the island!

This was an awesome experience! Such kind staff and we were lucky enough to get Preston as our guide. Couldn’t have asked for a more easy-going, helpful, informative, and fun guy to guide us! The icing on the cake was his impression of Disney characters (ask him to do a little Jack Sparrow!) and he even speaks Mandarin! He definitely made the experience super fun, pointing out the beauty of the area, finding us a bald eagle, and giving us history of the island on the way. We would definitely do this kayak trip again!

Wow!!! My BFF & I totally scored when we got Preston as our guide to Kayaking to Frog Rock tour. I’m just going to say it—it’s fine, it’s okay—yes, Preston is very easy on the eyes. BUT… he also has THE BEST personality and the sweetest spirit. Not only did we get a dose of island history, but he wowed us with his knowledge about the wildlife and the ocean’s hidden wonders. Oh—and this man spotted and pointed out a friggin bald eagle perched majestically on a mountaintop. Like, seriously, PRESTON. LEGEND. We shared stories, collected shells, listened to that magical “water falling over rocks” sound, and hunted for heart-shaped rocks like it was our mission in life. Now, Preston has a whole arsenal of Disney character impressions, but let me tell you—we were living for his Jack Sparrow. Hands down our favorite. Spot. On. And… the cherry on top? He speaks Mandarin. FLUENTLY!!! We live in a world where people crave connection. Sometimes it’s just to pass the time, but sometimes it’s to learn something or feel inspired. Preston gets that. He connects with people in the most genuine way, and hearing his stories was pure magic. So here’s my PSA: if you come to Catalina… DO. THIS. TOUR. And don’t you dare forget to ask for Preston. And oooops—can’t forget our girl G! She dealt with us like we were sisters from another mister. G, you are absolutely adorable! Preston & G—thanks for making our Day 1 adventure on the island absolutely spectacular!
