I’m really disappointed and also very upset. My trip was started from Lausanne. In Lauterbrunen abandoned me there because I was 3 minutes late to come back to the coach. As a solo traveller I was panicking and tried to contact Viatour. Unfortunately they didn’t respond quickly. I think this is very unprofessional. Guide David was so rude and unprofessional. Via tour agent said you should come ontime and provide me key tours official number while I ask the guide David’s number.
Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear about your experience, however we would like to clarify the situation. This was a shared group tour with a fixed schedule and clearly communicated meeting times at each stop. Unfortunately, the group cannot wait for late returns, as this would impact all other guests and the remainder of the itinerary. In this case, the departure from Lauterbrunnen took place on time after the agreed meeting point, and all guests were informed of the return time in advance. It is the responsibility of each passenger to return to the coach punctually. We are sorry to hear that you felt distressed, and we appreciate your comments regarding communication. We will review this internally to ensure information is as clear as possible for future guests. Thank you for your understanding.
The full suite Swiss experience: snow capped mountains, waterfalls, rolling green fields with grazing cows and horses, pretty villages with cobbled roads, stream, Lac Léman, la Gruyère (if you’re coming from Geneva and Lausanne) and trains. We were lucky to experience some of the best views in the world on a shimmering April day. The Eiger at Grindelwald, the waterfalls at Lauterbrunnen, the funicular at Interlaken and the bus ride itself. Spectacular! A must-do.
