This private tour was one of the best we’ve ever taken. Our tour guide was knowledgeable, interesting and flexible. We. Tailored this tour to cover just the Palatine Hill which included the Houses of Augustus and Livia since we had previously toured the Forum. We found Palatine Hill fascinating and more than worthy of the 3 hours we spent there. If you are interested in the history of the Roman Empire, this tour is for you. The ruins and excavations on the Palatine are incredible and the Houses of Augustus and Livia are very well done.

Marta was a great guide. I left the tour feeling like I had seen all of the major highlights of the forum and the Palatine Hill, and I had a much clearer understanding of the history behind and timeline of the many many structures on the site

We took the Super Sites tour with Guia and it was FABULOUS! She was super knowledgeable and made all of the sites in the tour enjoyable and accessible. The multimedia tours of the House of Augustus and House of Livia were standouts all alone. Those tours are offered in different languages so make sure you arrive at a time when your preferred language tour occurs. Guia was careful to make sure we arrived just on time for the English tour. If you enjoy ancient Roman and early Christian history, then be sure to take this tour.

We did the Super sites exclusive tour of houses of Augustus and Livia with Roman forum and palatine hill tour with Claudia. It was the best tour we did in Rome. Claudia is an amazing guide. We had previously been on a tour of the Roman Forum but this tour went beyond what you usually experience and learn. Claudia’s knowledge and expertise was incredible and she was very friendly and passionate about the history of her city. This was a tour that we will not forget.

Gracelyn, our tour guide, was phenomenal! She knew pretty much everything we could have asked her about the Roman Forum and all the sites within it. My husband has a good sense of Roman history and she and him really talked shop with great fun. She not only was very knowledgeable, she was also very personable and a delight to spend time with. Would highly recommend if you want a detailed trip to the Forum area. She also brought pictures of what the Forum would have looked like, and that was super helpful for imagining it in its heyday.

Very special and interesting place to experience. Tour was a bit unorganized but we enjoyed it and our guide was very knowledgeable.

We did this as Private Tour and added the Colosseum with the Underground for my dad and I. It was supposed to be a 5 hour tour with another hour for lunch. First off, our tour guide showed up late, and when I called the company they gave me a different name vs the person who showed up. Then it was just poorly planned. We ended up on a rushed 6 hour tour with no break for lunch (my 75 year old father had no rest break). And for the price I paid, I expected someone with education or experience in history or archaeology, but our guide was a lawyer from Ukraine. She was very kind and patient, but I had told the company how interested my dad was in Roman Empire history. Fortunately, my dad was happy with the tour, but I was rather disappointed knowing what I'd communicated to the tour company.

My tour guide was Gracelyn M and she was wonderful!!! She was so well informed and kept the communication flowing for the entire duration. I learned so much during this tour and would gladly take any other tour she provides on future visits.

The best visit to the Palatine and the Forum. Our guide Siriki, an archaeologist? He explained the entire Roman Forum to us with passion and enthusiasm. I've been to the forum several times and this was the best visit I've ever made. And to top it off we saw the house of Augustus and Livia. Incredible visit!
