The guide has good knowledge of the region/country and knows the places to visit. Very good, good English and nice person (Kha).

We had a great time with our guide Thanh and our driver (who was very impressive! He maneuvered through some very tight alleys in a stick shift and drove through a crazy downpour!) The families we visited were very friendly and Thanh was informative and funny, we learned a lot on this tour. The length of time at each stop was perfect, I was worried it would be too short based on the itinerary but it ended up being exactly right. A big rainstorm hit while we were driving between spots in the open jeep but the driver stopped and quickly got us rain ponchos and was a very good driver despite the poor visibility. They were so great that the rain wasn’t even an issue! We also appreciated that there was no pressure to buy anything additional, Thanh made sure we knew that all of the families were paid as part of the tour fee that we initially paid (although we did end up getting some souvenirs at each stop because we liked them!)

We really enjoyed our tour! Our guide, Thanh (apologies if I spelled it incorrectly!), was super fun and friendly, we really enjoyed learning about local culture from him. The USSR Jeep was really cool, even though we got drenched in a downpour. The driver was skilled, and also really nice! My 18 year old son liked this tour just as much as my 25 year old daughter did, so it’s a good option for mixed age and interest groups. Definitely a great way to see more of the area than just the tourist districts, and I’d highly recommend this tour.

We toured with Kha and we had a fantastic time. He provided us with such a personalized trip and shared insight about the locals we wouldn’t have known otherwise. We loved getting to try out different trades with the locals and have come away with memories and mementos. Thank you, Kha!

With my elderly parents and a 5 month old baby in tow, we are always looking for well paced activities with air conditioning and rest stops! This tour was amazing! Lanh would often hold my baby as we were making rice paper or incense or whatever the next activity was and the van has nice cold air conditioning to cool down in as we travelled between activities. This tour was the perfect way to be immersed in local culture without the hustle of a typical tour. You’re able to really go at your pace. It’s lovely to support local artisans but also be really hands on with each visit. The lunch offered is exceptional. Much better than most lunches we’ve had on tours.

We had an absolutely fantastic tour with Brian around the countryside and local neighborhoods surrounding Hoi An. It was a wonderful opportunity to experience authentic local life, meet talented artisans, and learn about traditional crafts. One of the highlights was learning how to make rice noodles from scratch, which gave us a real appreciation for the work and skill involved. The tour was both informative and engaging, offering insights into the culture, history, and daily life of the area. We finished the day with a delicious lunch featuring fresh herbs and ingredients grown locally, which was the perfect ending to a memorable experience. Brian was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and entertaining throughout the tour. His passion for the local culture really made the experience special.
