We had an excellent day absolutely lovely views Tony was our guide he was very polite and friendly he went above and beyond. pointing out places of interest and very informative about the history which made our tour, I would definitely be back doing more tours in the future 😀

What an incredible experience! This tour exceeded every expectation we had and ended up being one of the highlights of my trip, it was an incredible way for my partner and I to celebrate our 9 year anniversary! The scenery throughout the route was absolutely breathtaking, with countless opportunities to stop and take photos of the beautiful Lake District. A huge part of what made the experience so memorable was our guide, Steve. His passion for the Lake District was obvious from the very beginning, and his knowledge of the area’s history, landscapes, and local people was incredible. He was friendly, approachable, helpful, and genuinely trustworthy, and he went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a fantastic day. The activities when we got to the castle were brilliant too, we had a great time with the archery and axe throwing, which added something a little different to the experience. Lunch was excellent, with very generous portions and a hot drink included, which was a lovely touch. As well as enjoying the stunning scenery, I came away having learned so much about the history of the Lake District and the people who have shaped it over the years. It was informative, fun, and incredibly well organised from start to finish. I can’t recommend this tour highly enough. If you’re visiting the Lake District, this is an experience you shouldn’t miss!

An excellent value trip with a very good guide in a good quality mini-bus

We had a great trip with Mark H who was very friendly, informative and a skilled driver! The views were spectacular and the day was planned out perfectly so that we could enjoy the afternoon events at Muncaster. Mark had a lot of amazing knowledge about the Lake District's history and was engaging throughout. He also navigated the Hardknott and Wrynose passes very well. Thanks to Mark for an amazing day!

I wrote a day before to know the departure time from the meeting point; they told me it was between 9:25 and 9:35 AM, but the van left at 9:24 AM; I saw them leave. No one contacted me via WhatsApp, nor by call, nor by message.

Highly recommend for a relaxing day out experiencing the high passes (without having to drive the narrow road yourself). Really got to see Lakes beauty, diversity and key locations and the visit to Muncaster castle was interesting. Andy our driver was wonderful.

An incredible tour packed with fascinating facts about the Lake District, that even as a local, I learned things I’d never heard before! The drive offers breathtaking scenery, including a visit to Manchester castle. The driver I had, Derek, was friendly and knowledgeable. I’d highly recommend this tour to anyone, young or old, with a love of history and beautiful landscapes!

A wonderful trip with Tony. a first rate driver and guide. Superb scenery, accompanied by his gentle, witty and yet unobtrusive commentary. We would have liked more time to enjoy the high passes, for example the Roman ruins, and then perhaps linked up with Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway for a run, re joining the coach further along. Muncaster Castle needed a lot more time to really enjoy as an attraction in its own right.
