This was a terrific experience and great value for money. Aaron is one of the best guides we’ve ever experienced on a vacation tour. He was personable, informative and worked hard to make sure everyone in the group had a great time and saw what was important to them. We visited almost immediately after the hurricane had he shared a lot of information about the island, its culture and the impact of the storm. This is the best tour to visit the Volcano National Park, without a doubt. We’d rate it a 15/10!
This was a fantastic excursion! There is truly nothing else like it, and it was such a great way to experience the beauty and highlights of Hilo. If you’re coming to Hilo, I highly recommend adding this excursion to your plans. And if you have the opportunity to request Aaron as your tour guide, do it! He was absolutely top-tier—knowledgeable, engaging, personable, and truly one of the best to do it. I would recommend Aaron any day of the week. This was such an awesome day in Hilo. We came in by cruise and Aaron picked us up directly at the cruise port. He was super informative and made sure to make the trip enjoyable. 100% would recommend.
Aaron was superb. He was knowledgable, polite, informative and had a clear and comfortable van shuttling us around. It was great to have a local providing his perspective, experience and insights into the area, history and evolution of the volcano.
Our tour guide Aaron was great! He called us on the way to our hotel, picked us up on time, and always had clear guidelines and tips for us! The tour experience was a good mix of narration and open time to go at our pace.
This was an all day tour. Well worth it ! Our guide, Aaron was very informative. We saw the volcano crater from several view points. It is massive! Saw some steam cracks up close. Saw Rainbow Falls and black sand too!9

This was a wonderful experience. I learned a lot of new & interesting facts about the Big Iland i didnt know before. Aaron is a awesome guide. Funny & i loved the karaoke so fun. I recommend this tour for anyone who wants pure Hawaiian experience
Gorgeous scenery! Take a rain jacket or poncho for the top. It gets a little rainy and chilly. Aaron our guide was amazing with his island and volcano knowledge! The lava tube was equally as amazing!! Book this now!
