Billie was a great tour guide taking us to places we never would find ourselves and explaining some of the rich history found in Haarlem
Although not far, travelled from Amsterdam. No show and no communication from guide.
Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that you had trouble finding the group. However, the tour did take place and our guide was present at the meeting point. We also spoke with you by phone, so we tried to help you find the group. Our tours start exactly at 13:30, so we kindly ask guests to arrive a little early and be at the correct meeting point on time. Unfortunately, once the tour has started, it can be difficult to reconnect with the guide and group while they are already walking. We are sorry that this caused disappointment, but this was not a no show from our side.

Iris was very knowledgeable about the history of Haarlem. She took us to several places that we would not have noticed on our own and explained their significance. Well worth doing.

The tour was 2 hours but flew by. Iris was very knowledgeable and the information was really interesting and touches of humour too. Learned so much that even retraced some our steps next day to share with my elderly mother at a more suitable pace for her. Highly recommended

Despite the wet cool weather, had a great tour. Appreciated the depth of Cor’s local knowledge of Haarlem and Holland. Instructions to find the tour in busy square were easy to use (local market is held in the square on Saturday). Highly recommend.
There disappointing. Starting too late. And not well prepared. Everything we had to enter was closed or not allowed. Little particular information. 2 hours barely became 1.5 . It's too bad. Even if it costs little money.
Beste MR Meijer, Bedankt voor uw review. Jammer om te horen dat de tour in Haarlem teleurstellend was en niet aan uw verwachtingen voldeed. Omdat u zelf Nederlander bent, begrijpen we dat sommige verhalen of achtergrondinformatie minder verrassend kunnen zijn. Deze tour is vooral gemaakt voor buitenlandse bezoekers die Haarlem voor het eerst ontdekken en nog weinig weten over de stad en de Nederlandse geschiedenis. Dat neemt natuurlijk niet weg dat de tour goed voorbereid moet zijn. Onze excuses als bepaalde plekken gesloten waren of niet toegankelijk bleken.
