My husband and I absolutely loved Abelardo’s tour in Arequipa. It ended up being just the three of us, so it felt like a private tour; such a special experience! Abelardo was an incredible guide. He is knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about his city. We learned so much about Arequipa’s history, culture, and especially its architecture. As architects ourselves, we completely geeked out over the details, and Abelardo did an amazing job diving deeper into the design, materials, and historical context. It made the entire experience even more meaningful for us. We walked away with a much deeper appreciation for the city and its heritage. I would 100% recommend this tour to anyone visiting Arequipa — it was truly one of the highlights of our trip!

A wonderful personal tour of Arequipa! We really enjoyed our time with Giselle. She showed us the highlights of the city with excellent explanations at each site, including the history of the region. It made the experience so much more meaningful. Highly recommend!
Gyssella is wonderful. She grows up in Arequipa and is so knowledgeable. She showed us the different fruit and their uniqueness. She shared lots of stories and histories of the city and the monastery. You can feel she loves her city and passionate to let more people know her hometown. It is a great experience.
Gisele was wonderful. Here knowledge of the city is excellent. The walk around the city was informative and fun. She added some stores and tails that made the time so much fun.

Our tour guide Gisela was wonderful. She asked if we prefered English or Spanish. We chose Spanish. She explained everything and provided great insight on the amazing architecture and historical buildings, its inhabitants and its cultural impact. She also gave us tips on what was customary when walking into a market or buying items from a merchant. The pace was great and she made the entire tour very enjoyable. I would highly recommend.
