Excellent trip, well organized. Really liked it. Only small issue was that the Tour company sent a whatsapp message asking to bring a lot of cash for the trip, but later found that cards are accepted in vast majority of places. The Colca Canyon entrance fee takes 15 soles extra for card, and there was one stop where card was not accepted. Everywhere else, cards accepted without extra fees. However, that was only a small issue. Overall, the entire tour was well organized, and the hotel allocated to us was excellent.

I highly recommend Giardino Tours. We had an amazing guide, who was informative, energetic, and someone who really enjoyed what he does. He made the whole trip from Arequipa to Colca Canyon a really pleasant experience, with many side excursions to make the trip memorable. You won’t regret working with them.

First of all, she speaks excellent English; secondly, she knows how to convey her extensive knowledge in a very interesting and captivating way. She put in a tremendous effort and enriched her explanations with photographic material and illustrative objects. And thirdly — which is the most important — she was very kind and attentive, always friendly, helpful, and considerate. We enjoyed the two days we spent with her immensely. Together with Jonathan, her excellent and confident driver, they formed a magnificent team.

All was good. Impressive landscapes, some fauna along the way. We enjoyed. Guide (Jennifer) and driver were great 10/10. In description of the tour on tripadvisor it seemed like we would have more time to enjoy the wildlife in the Reserva Salinas y Agua Blanca, instead we just stopped 5-10min on the side of the road. Also, in the description it wad mentionned some activities at the hotel, but there were none. Furthermore, many activitites you pay even though the price is high enough, like all the little food and beverages allong the way. Expect at least 150-200 soles per person for food mandatory. Mentionned it to the company, they sais they will correct the description.

Our experience with Stephany and Juan has been 10 out of 10. Stephany has cared for our well-being at all times, constantly asking us how we were and ensuring that we enjoyed the experience. Additionally, he conveys an authentic passion for nature; it is admirable to see the respect and affection with which he speaks about the environment, instilling that same feeling in us throughout the journey. Juan has been an exceptional driver. We felt safe at all times, which is especially valuable considering the complexity of some of the roads in the area. Two magnificent days among the vicuñas of the national reserve of Salinas and the breathtaking views of the Colca Valley. The highlight of the experience was, of course, observing the wonderful Andean condors. The organization by Giardino was excellent, providing us with a very comfortable van and a fantastic hotel that was cozy, warm, and had great food (I highly recommend selecting Casa di MamaYachi), with the additional option to enjoy the hot springs of Coporaque. Finally, the level of the experience was further elevated by our guide, Jennifer. She was very knowledgeable, kind, and very friendly and helpful. Thanks to her, we were able to fully appreciate everything we visited and admired during these two days.

We took a 2-day tour of the Colca Canyon, and it was very beautiful and interesting. The valley is wonderful; the best part, of course, is the condors, but it was also appreciated thanks to our guide Jennifer, who explained everything very well in excellent English. The hotel where we stayed is wonderful, with excellent food and a shower with hot water.
